Delmi nodded and continued to walk down the road, looking for anything of interest.

"I much prefer the big black to this, nothin' hidden under the surface out there," Chase said, having tagged along as well but now sorta drifting between the two.

The people here meet her gaze with a smile but they don’t really approach. The local security have military spec weapons and armor though they lack a standardized uniform. They do have weapons and confident looks and people seem to defer to them.

The busiest structure seems to be a casino called the Golden Trench.

Delmi followed the general flow of the people and found her way to the Golden Trench...

Layne had good experience with gambling... the one time she actually did it... still, money was't really an issue for her the way it used to be. But the busiest place was still the place to be, so she followed along.

Inside it was loud and filled with lights and sounds, garish slot machines on the lower level and the upper levels had high stakes gambling all built around massive aquarium arena where fighters swam and fought underwater against deadly predators for the entertainment of the people.

Delmi walked up to the spectators area and stood next to a man who seemed to be really interested in the fight.

“Who’s fighting?” She asked the stranger.

[Dapper Dog]

A portly male twi’lek said in Huttese, “Looks like some nobodies versus the Maw, my money is on the Maw.” He pointed at a nearly 3 meter underwater predator with a large toothy mouth tearing an unfortunate gladiator to pieces.

“Never bet against the Maw.”

[Delmi Koor]

“Makes sense.” She nodded.

“Where they dig up these scrubs?” She asked in huttese.

[Dapper Dog]

“Desperate folks, either up to the ears in debt or foolish enough to think they can make creds as an arena fighter. Way too dangerous for me,” he responded in kind.

[Delmi Koor]

She nodded, “I understand the impulse... but gotta be crazy to fight that. This the main event today?”

[Dapper Dog]

“Yeah, though rumor has it the Queen might have a surprise event… if so gonna be bloody,” the man replied with glee.

[Delmi Koor]

She snorted a chuckle, “Sounds interesting. I’m here on business today. But hopefully will be back for pleasure next time. There any other good bits of entertainment around? Something only the locals know? I find those to be the most interesting wherever I go.”

[Dapper Dog]

"Well outlander, what tickles your pickle"" he asked in Huttese.

[Delmi Koor]

“A good fight. Some different game of chance from all the normal ones. Some kinda game of skill.” She replied.

[Dapper Dog]

“Plenty of sabacc tables upstairs, to test your luck. Slots, and plenty of bookies to make bets,” he responded.

“Live feeds from Nar Shaddaa for Huttball is particularly lively. Not sure if really live, but hey we take what we can get.”

[Delmi Koor]

“Hm... get enough of that back home on Nar Shaddaa... Guess this underwater arena is Bankor’s special thing... Shame it’s just feeding time for the big fish.” She replied.

“Thanks bud. Sorry for bugging ya. Get your next drink on me.” She slid a 10 credit chip his way.

She paused for a second, “Ah what the hell... what odds you give me on anyone but the Maw winning?”

[Dapper Dog]

"Heh five to one odds is what I am seeing," he replied.

[Delmi Koor]

“How about 100 creds, you and me at those odds? Or are side bets not cool here?”

[Dapper Dog]

“As long as we don’t get caught, sure I’ll take that bet,” he responded.
