Bankor

Z was outside his ship, going through some last minute preparations, the last big push was going to start soon, and he wanted to be ready. His guns were in good shape, though he had missed the chance to get some work done on them, and all his gear was in it's various pouches.

Still it didn't hurt to double check, and piece by piece he started going through his inventory again.

"I'm pretty sure it's all there." Galen said as he walked up. "It always is."

"You never know, I might of left my flask in my other jacket." As Galen knew though that was very unlikely. "But heya, Galen. How have you been?"

"Well, you can't leave your flask behind. Everything else, maybe, but not that." he chuckled. "I'm alright Zane, how about you?"

"True, I'd rather die from a blaster then from thirst." Zane offered patting where one of his two flasks rode in his pocket.

"Not bad, I've managed to skirt the worst of the fighting, other then a bad scrape or two. Guess that makes me better off then most."

"There have been some rough spots." he nodded. "But, the end is in sight. Where are you going next?"

"The Outer Rim probably. There is a man out there I need to find, he's hurt a couple friends of mine and caused a pretty big mess." His lips curled into a wry smile. "I figured the least I could do is treat him to a really nice time, see that he doesn't get silly thoughts like that again."

"you? going to find someplace to study again? See the Galaxy?"

"I'd help you with that, but I need to see an Order about a lightsaber." His hand brushed against the hilt attached to his belt. "After that, I was thinking of coming back to Bankor."

His eyes drifted towards the box cutter Galen carried at his side. "Well, I'm no expert on those type of things, I'm sure you have your reasons."

"But back to Bankor?" He raised an eyebrow. "For something specific?"

"I'm not sure." he admitted. "I think I could learn there. And, I'd be more comfortable in its wilds than on more developed planets."

"Well if you think it will be good for you, go for it." There really wasn't any reason not to. "Learning about what you can do is important, and I can't say the two major ways to learn in the galaxy are really great ones."

He nodded. "I intend to look for more teachers. Bankor seems like a good place to search from. I'm sure we'll still run into each other. The galaxy is much smaller than it seems."

'That it is." Z agreed with a slight smile. "Maybe the next time we meet there will be a nice bar full of women to hit on."

"We can do a bit of reliving of the glory days." He shook his head. "Were they glory days?"

"That would be nice." he grinned. "Some days were. Definitely. And, those days helped me out of my anti-social shell.'

"Well, I'm happy for that" His lips curled into a smirk. "You know, every now and then I still wonder how Evageline is doing." It was probably a good thing they never heard back from her. "You ever wonder where it was she ran off to?"

"I do." he nodded. "It would be nice to see her again. That's pretty unlikely, I imagine."

"Yeah, she's probably hidden pretty well somewhere, keeping out of the sight of the hutts isn't exactly easy." Which was something she needed to do. "Well, as long as we don't get any cards going 'come pick up your kid' all is probably more or less okay." That kind of card did seem rather unlikely though.

"I mean she could likely find us if she needed to after all."
