[Day 2 - Mid Night] Bombs over Bankor

Power Cost: 0
Participants: 4 players
Timeslots: Mid Night

Description: The Republic is launching an all assault on the Power Plant!

Rules: Tano Kryze is ready for the assault led by Jace Malcom on the power station in fact she relished it, the trap was set. The Republic will have to decide disable the bombs around the power station and prevent massive casualties or go after Tano as she flees the location.

Bombs Away!

Saving the Power Station will require disarming three hypermatter bombs, this will require either a Hard Skullduggery, Computers, or Mechanics checks, also a setback due to Mandalorian trickery. Each bomb is hidden and will require a Hard Perception check to find. They will have six rounds to find all three bombs while being attacked by Mandalorian fighters!

Tano is Mine!

They can skip the bombs and go for Tano Kryze, the Power Plant detonates as they reach the roof. This will be a Chase and Battle as they commandeer a gunship and give chase. These are Silhouette 3 vehicles with a maximum Speed of 3 and Handling of +0, Armor 2 and have 20 Hull Threshold/15 System Strain; they have a turret cannon. Blaster Cannon in the vehicle section.

Blaster Cannon [Range Close, Dam 4, Crit 4]

Each round each pilot will continue the Chase while the rest operate a cannon, or personal weapons if they are at Close Vehicle range, this equates to Medium range at Personal scale, Long range weapons can be used Short, and Extreme at Medium Vehicle range.

Rewards/Outcome: If successful gain 4 Victory points for killing Tano or 2 Victory Points for saving the Power Plant.

Trust Modified: Gain .3 if the Power Plant is saved, lose .4 if they go after Tano and allow the Power Plant to blow.
Power Modified: 0
Duty Earned: Increase Duty by 5.

Fully armed and armoured, Specialist Devaroo volunteered for the bomb disposal squad. It was part of his specialist training afterall. He knew the Mandos were planning to blow them all up, and hoped he'd recovered sufficiently from his experiences on Balmorra to do what needed to be done.

"Assessment: Mandalorians believe themselves apex predators. Statement: They are wrong. I am the Apex Predator," the Assassin droid responded as the Republic flooded into the Power facility! Spread out the facility are three more squads of sentry droids... lesser, inferior killing machines.

OOC: Niall gets a free Maneuver before start of combat. Assassin Droid has Adversary 2 and Ranged Defense 1; the sentry droids have no defenses just numbers 2 squads of 4. If a Despair is generated it sets off an explosion of unstable materials in the room that will deal Blast 7 to everyone. 6 rounds to find 3 bombs, good luck. When a Bomb is found assume it is at Short range to the squad.

The Droids are at Medium range to the Republic squad.

Niall took cover as the droids came into view, reacting instantly. "Everyone... damn!" He hissed as blaster fire hit nearby him, cutting his speech exceptionally short. "Let's find these bombs and get them disarmed!" He kept his head low as he looked about.

Seeing the Republic there ready to fight, one of the Resistance was able to get their hands free.

Galen moved quickly, looking for the first bomb while the others dealt with the droids. Once he found it, he took cover and prepared to look for the next.

With all the support from his comrades Rav quickly got to the first bomb and handily disarmed it. He pulled out a Stimpack from his military belt punch and jabbed it in Galen.

"Good job kid, now try not to get shot again and find me another one huh?" He looked over toward the feed resistance fighter. "Sara?! Did you see where they set the other bombs?"

Day 2 Bombs. Round 1. Disarm bomb 1. 3 boosts. Talents remove the two setback. Destiny for upgrade. Hard roll.: 4eP+3eB+3eD 1 success, 2 advantage

The sentry droids aim at Rav and fire, they strike him with a torrent of fire causing him to stumble over a railing and now dangle high above the reactor core glowing a yellow-orange below, churning through hypermatter.

OOC: Squad 1 hit Rav for 11 wounds, let me know what Threat is used for, Triumph used to blast him backwards... he is now hanging off the edge, will take a Maneuver to scramble up! End of Round 1.

A stream of expletives followed Rav over the edge. It looked like their Sapper was toast...

... until a clawed hand could be seen and he pulled himself back up from certain Doom. "Well shit, I never needed to get that view of a reactor core."

Clambering up onto the walkway he dropped onto all fours and ran to where Galen had found the second bomb. It proved to be an easy fix, although he got a jolt from the machinery just after disarming it.

Something incredibly useful happened as he looked around...

Maneuver: Climb back up.
Maneuver 2: Move to bomb #2 (2 strain)
Action: Disarm the bomb - It's highly effective:
