Cole took a half pace forward, concern furrowed his brow, "Keilynn," his tone was gentle, "we may not be able to release your sister to you, but would you like to see her?"

Niall gave Cole a nod before turning to Keilynn. "But we cannot offer more than that." His lips pressed together. "And there will need to be some security precautions."

"But put the thought of fighting for her freedom from your mind." Niall said. His voice was gentle. "There is no amount of damage you can cause, no injury you can deal out, no torture you can inflict that will lead to the release of your sister. It will only strengthen our resolve that we are right to hold her."

"And it will cause more death." Again, he inclined her head to her. "I know that you feel differently about that then we do. But I submit that there is enough blood shed between your family and the Republic. If we are going to spend lives, let us do it for a just cause, against the enemies of both our parties."

Zane slipped into silence as the others took the lead in the talks. He'd said his piece, even went as far as poking at the horents nest. It would be the other three that would sway her in one direction or the other.

Keilynn closed her eyes and then nodded. "Let me see her first. Then I can learn of her thoughts." She held out her staff and then dropped it onto the ground. "Would now do or would you refuse me right now?"

"I think it should be possible to do so now. Captain?" The four of them here could serve as her escort if nothing else, Lyseil figured. And if allowing the two sisters to meet to stave off more bloodshed, it would be a successful mission.

Besides, the princess had much sympathy for the sisters who had been manipulated. "I would personally not want to refuse your chance to see her again. Family is important, after all."

Niall nodded. "Of course. I give you my word that you won't be harmed in any way. We'll escort you ourselves. And, if you'd like, we'll take you there immediately."

He gave a nod to Lyseil. "Sergeant, would you transmit word of our impending return? Make sure it's understood that we're bringing a guest with us, and that she's to be treated with the respect usually afforded to a visiting ambassador." He looked back to Keilynn. "Again, on my word."

"Yessir," Lyseil nodded, taking a step back as she brought up her commlink, ready to communicate the captain's orders depending on Keilynn's response.

The Mandalorian opened up her commlink and turned away during her conversation. "Cyar'ika, hold off the assault for now. Cyar'ika," she trailed off. She nodded along with what was said and then let out a sigh. "Cyar'ika, cyar'ika, I know they are hungry. Hunt some of the local animals instead." She put a hand on her hip and let out another exasperated sigh. "You are leading them too! I know you can handle them." A pause. "Ni kar'tayl gar darasuum."

She shut it off and turned back to the Republic personnel. "We have a temporary ceasefire in effect now. I am sure you know they will be furious if you take advantage of my trust here." She unholstered her pistol and ejected the power pack before placing them both inside the crate containing her sister's armor.

Apparently it was time to go, so Zane stood aside so the others could enter. He had no problem being the last inside.

Niall listened to the brief Mandalorian conversation, his expression bland. It certainly raised questions, but not any that he felt comfortable asking. He probably didn't want to know the answer.

"That's entirely fair." Niall said, inclining his head to Keilynn once more. "Thank you for giving us this opportunity to demonstrate our good faith. Please, this way." He gestured with one arm, directing the little group back into the shuttle. It seemed the next step was to allow the sisters to reunite. Perhaps it would prove to be a mistake. But only tactically; it was definitely the right thing to do.

Lyseil relayed the captain's orders, informing the others of the guest that would come. "Yes, she is coming with us peacefully to se her sister. Correct, she is not to be harmed," the sergeant confirmed to the people on the other side.

"They'll be expecting us, captain." I pray this isn't a terrible idea.

It was time to fly back with their guest.

Unlike his colleagues, Cole had no such doubts, he never would have offered if he had. Perhaps he had too much faith in the Republic, in the people it chose to work with, believing that none aboard the Valiant Star would be foolish enough to attempt to harm their guest. It certainly didn’t cross his mind that Keilynn—alone, unarmed, and willingly so—would lash out with violence.

Running a hand through his hair, he moved to escort the woman aboard their transport.

With the others aboard Zane, paused before walking inside, shooting a look down at the crate and staff. "Are we taking this with us, or will your people take care of it, Mrs. Rodarch?" He asked, waiting for a answer before stepping inside.

It would probably be taken care of, but it was likely wise to be sure.

"My comrades will retrieve my belongings," the woman noted. She took the seat farthest from the others in a corner and buckled herself in. She settled her hair and then looked away from them with her arms crossed.

Respecting her decision, Niall took a seat at a moderate distance, strapping himself in. He gave Z a nod, knowing that the detective would be able to keep an eye on their guest.

Lyseil buckled in for what was going to be an awkward ride back to Valiant Star...

... Couldn't be worse than some of the awkward conversations she had endured before.

With the others aboard Z stepped inside, closing the door before taking his seat.

Tipping his hat back over his eyes he leaned back. The Mandolorian was probably not going to cause any problems at this point.
