Arali blinked awake, nervous, the world burning bright. She began to move, then a sharp pain brought the world into focus.

Her attention went to the doctor, and she put the pieces together.

She gave the human a curt nod, and closed her eyes again. Most useful thing she could do right now is rest.

Galen sat down beside Arali, watching over her while she rested.

A container of water was dangled in front of the docs face.

"Take a breather doc, have a drink. You're not a one man army anymore, the Jedi have come to help."

Standing up, Cole stretched his back and gratefully took the canteen, "thanks," it was hot work and he'd been sweating, running a hand through his hair and rubbing the back of his neck. Gesturing to the various medics, nurses, and volunteers bustling about, "the more I can do, the less pressure there is on them. I'm just pulling my weight."

"And you've pulled it a million times over" Azura pointed out with a nod "take a few moments to recharge. Not sure how much a patient will feel helped if his medic collapses from exhaustion from him, even if it would cover a wound."

She did offer a hand to shake. "Azura's my name by the way. I'm not a caring type normally, but medics get a free pass on that."

It was true that Cole looked pale and tired. He wiped his palm on his fatigues before shaking Azura's hand, "Cole. I've fallen down on the job before, I'll give you a shout if I feel it coming on."

"Sounds like a plan. Don't collapse when working on me though, I can't do much if you're on top of me" Azura chuckled, looking over the wounded with a small frown.

"It ain't the worst sight I've ever seen, but this was a pretty crappy tactic to use. If I had any sympathy for the other side, it would be gone now. We'll give 'em hell now."

Looking at her with a practised surgeon's eye, "I'm one-thirty-eight pounds soaking wet, I don't think you'd have any trouble managing me."

Azura snorted, laughing.

"Is that all? Really? Yeah, I could pick you up and carry you easily enough! No worries doc, I got ya."

Nodding in agreement, Cole drank deeply from the canteen. "It looks like the worst of it is over now anyway. We'll need to round everyone up and start transporting them out."

"Mm" Azura nodded "gonna need a lot of transporters. This has been a pretty bloody day. You gonna be ok dealing with all that doc?"

[Dr. Cole Ormont]

“I’ve got some experience, and I’m sure there’s someone around here who technically outranks me.” He pushed his fingers through his curls, they we damp and messy.

[Azura Mora]

Azura nodded. "Hopefully among the living rather than dead. I won't keep you anymore, you're looking less tired already" she smiled at him "keep up the good work!"

[Dr. Cole Ormont]

Nodding, "stay safe," he ran his hand through his hair and got back to work.

[Hamelin]
