He coughed as he inhaled some of the smoke and dust from the explosions.

"Fuck.." Jax grit his teeth as he saw the boy detonate him and Garth escorted the man to the safety they could reach. The next time he saw Vando that man would have to have some strong space magic to not get a blaster bolt in his gut.

"Damnit kid don't.." Chase reached for the kids collar as he went racing past all of a sudden outta the blue like some half cocked meathead, just barely missing the point of ripping him back toward her at the neck by maybe a few inches. Feeling the fabric of his shirt slip from her hand she pivoted on instinct. Throwing her arms out and diving on top of the girl and throwing the both of them down across the ground covering her protectively.

Coughing violently as she pushed herself up off the girl, debris and dust falling off her sides as she lifted herself off of her. Making sure everything was still intact for the both of them. "Come on," Chase spoke, her voice was hoarse. "Let's go, now!"
