"Someone should explain to the Lady, she was never even after revenge." Zane muttered dryly, as he went to fetch the sword. "And that a sword is just a sword." Apparently he might know a thing or two about her language.

"Kyr'ad Kelborn. I saw it all." Eralynn blinked as she forced herself to stay upright. "He would enslave us to a Republic who would rather see us extinct. But, he was a noble leader nonetheless."

She sighed and then coughed in a fit of pain. "That sword was crafted by my hands for perfection. The failure is mine today." The woman glanced at her battered armor, where her blood seeped through. "But it has no worth beyond my fondness. Armor, well, that is what is important."

"That's enough from you," Tethys says sternly, noticing Eralynn stir again. "Your armor won't be given away. The Republic gave that assurance weeks ago."

Of course, she might never wear it again. But that was a question for others now.

She crouches down near Rav and adds more quietly, "I have more analgesics in my kit, if you need--? The real medics should be here soon." I feel--responsible. They kept coming after everyone but the one person who could parry those evil swords.... Varad till the end, I suppose. But saying that would be unlikely to improve anyone's spirits, so she keeps it to herself.

He gave Sabine a funny look, then looked at his arm, still in the armour he had crafted. Eventually he looked blankly back at Tethys as she spoke to him.

"Huh? Oh, just give me a dose of the good stuff. I'll be fine. You know, that stuff they gave me back on the frigate. That stuff."

There was a dent in his helmet where the sniper had hit him, and a lot of blood. Apart from the sweat and blood mixing with the oil in his fur he actually looked remarkably... Well, no actually he looked like shit.

The big sword was eventually dropped at Sabine's feet, he'd stopped listening to Eralynn a few moments back. When people like here started rambling, they weren't likely to stop. Looking down at himself and the mess he was, he couldn't help but frown. "I should of brought a change of clothes."

Glancing at Rav, he quirked a smile. "I'd tell you not to mix that stuff with alcohol, but really I'd do it too. Whiskey makes a great chaser for pain killers."

Tethys gives Zane a skeptical look as she fishes in her medkit for another ampoule of 'the good stuff,' which she offers to Rav. She doesn't really know how this stuff interacts with alcohol in a Shistavanen metabolic system, but it's unlikely to kill him before the experts get here, and it should at least make him more comfortable.

"No one expects you to look ready for a formal audience, Mr. Varliss," she tells Z with a raised eyebrow, retaining almost her normal degree of cool calm despite being intensely relieved all three of her comrades are up and talking. "And I apologize for going through your pockets... I'd run out of stims," she adds, just the tiniest bit sheepish.

"If you really wanted me to be quiet, then you could cut out my tongue or even kill me." Eralynn narrowed her eyes at the Jedi. "You despise me. Not one of your team would have shed a tear if your saber took my head. So why not?"

"Because summary execution contravenes Republic law. And my own conscience." Straightening up, Tethys crosses her arms. "If I had to kill you to stop you, I would have. I did not, so I will not."

She presses her lips together and takes another deep breath. "So, since you want to talk, tell me: do I have to tie you up before I apply this coagulant stim? Because if you bleed to death now I will have broken my promise to your officer."

"I would take any opportunity to kill you," she admitted. There was no malice in her voice this time. It was the cold truth. "So if you insist on keeping me alive, then you should give me no openings."

Zane sighed, why was it like this every time they took a captive. "You know, you're not cute at all." He murmured with a frown. His blaster appearing in his hand, as he leveled it at her head. "Are we done with all the posturing, Ladies? If so I'm going to put our Weeping Willow here to slerp."

Tethys shrugs one shoulder. Now that Eralynn poses no threat, the frustration and anger Tethys had felt over her in spite of herself is remote, hard to grasp or even remember clearly. What a waste.

"You can't kill her," she says, holding a warning hand out toward Z. "I gave my word."

"I didn't plan on it, honey." He replied cheerily as he clicked the blaster over to stun and fired. Hopefully it wouldn't take more then one shot to send her back to sleeping... If it did though, he'd happily oblige.

Sabine observed while observing the sword. "Man, what a maniac."

The Shistavanen raised the flask with his remaining hand and pressed it to his lips. "Ah, you're not wrong buddy. Wonder if the Doc'll hook me up with a drip of this stuff? Nah, it's probably the only good whisky on Balmorra."

"And as much fun as intravenous sounds, you don't get to taste it that way." He'd considered it more then a few times himself after all. "But I can see if I can find you a bottle and a very long bendy straw." Rav at least deserved a bendy straw.

Tethys sighs and, true to her word, drops to her knees beside the now blissfully unconscious Varad and begins making sure she won't die before they can get her back to base.

"Medevac should be coming soon. From the sound of it, the fighting is nearly over," she puts in.

"Good." Zane replied as he let his blaster slide into it's holster inside his coat, his eyes scanning the area for anything else of interest. Sabine had claimed her sword as her own, but there still was the vambrace she had dropped. Not that Zane had any particular use for one of those, but it could make a good memento.

"Could you check her for any other weapons Tethys." He asked the Jedi woman as she did her work. "We don't want her to have anything on her when we put her on the ship."

"Right." The Jedi finishes her basic first aid--without administering stims to rouse the unconscious woman, it's mostly a matter of making sure nothing's still bleeding--and does her best to check Eralynn's armor for other weapons. "Though I don't know all the hiding places these people might have built into their armor. And her officer's blaster should be around here somewhere--over there." She gestures more or less in the direction she'd flung Aaroth's gun--she'd been a little too preoccupied to mark exactly where it had landed.

A blaster was more his style, and Zanebry walked over to collect it, the thing probably wasn't all that hard to find. "Well, as experienced as you seem at going through pockets I think you'll have no problem at all." Z teased as he limped along. "I'm sure she has less of them then me."

Eralynn had taken a couple shots before unconsciousness took her. She slumped over and her body was easy to check. There were mircorockets attached to her shoulder, easily disarmable by a capable technician. Her vambraces were attached to her wrist and also required slight time to remove. She had a ritual blade as well, with a set of teeth as a tassel. Finally, the woman had a pistol bolstered at her leg that she had never used.

Tethys disassembles Eralynn's arsenal with methodical precision and an expression of deep distaste. The blunt-tipped shears from her medical kit make short work of the grisly tassel hanging from the blade weapon and the other strings of teeth adorning Eralynn's armor, all of which she wraps up carefully in a large square of medical gauze. "I'll have to ask the Resistance leaders what should be done with these. I doubt it will be possible to match them with their owners," she decides, with a faint sigh.

"Sergeant Kelborn, what about this?" She dangles the ritual blade from her fingertips by its hilt, frowning. "Are these things significant, like the armor? Or can we dispose of it?"

"I got a big roll of tape if you wanna keep her tied up? Maybe slap a patch over that foul mouth too..." Rav waved his right hand in front of his face and then paused for a few seconds as his tail twitched. "Huh, feels like I'm waving at'cha with ol' leftie."
