Niall nodded. "Is it okay if we pull up the logs? I'd like your permission for that."

[Dapper Dog]

“Yeah if it gets me out of here quicker, then yeah,” he said.

Niall nodded to T7. "T7, go ahead, if you would."

[Dapper Dog]

T7 pulled the logs and after five seconds beeped, “T7 = Disappointed. Kneecaps = Intact. Story//Checks//Out.”

“T7 = Hungry. T7//Feast//On//Pain.”

There was a moment of stunned silence.

Finally, Niall looked at the Ensign, jerking his thumb back towards T7. "Well, you heard the droid. Your story checks out. Kneecaps intact."

[Dapper Dog]

He replied, “So… can I go?” He looked at the droid unsure of what to think or feel… astromech droids don’t murder people right… right?

[Niall Organa]

"Feel free. Thank you for your cooperation." Niall said. A hesitation, then he added: "Maybe avoid elevators for a few hours."

[Dapper Dog]

"Yes sir," he said.

The last person did not arrive.

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Well that's interesting." Z murmured as their third subject seemed to be absent.

[Niall Organa]

"That is interesting." Niall said. "T7, can you get us through to the Specialist? Assuming she's still alive, of course."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Killing her off already, Niall?" Zane asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Aren't we supposed to introduce her to the studio audience first?" It was really a rather lame joke,but it seemed like something the Captain would laugh at.

[Dapper Dog]

T7 reached out and could not reach her after some checking they get a notice that she has taken her own life. They find some spice in her room and it looks like she had been involved with smuggling contraband… but still the death is surprising.

[Zanebry Varliss]

"You should order an autopsy of the Specialist Niall." Zane offered when they found out the news. "We should look into her further as well, known acquaintances, bank records, communication logs, everything."

"You should be able to get all that with the evidence she left behind, shouldn't you?"

[Niall Organa]

He sighed. "That's suspicious. T7, let's find out who she spoke to on those comm-calls. This has become an even more serious matter."

"As for the rest..." He sighed. "I'll put in a request."

[Dapper Dog]

T7 complied and pulled the communication logs but the data is partly corrupted though it showed that she was in contact with some unsavory individuals, local smugglers probably for the spice. There is also a communication between her and the dead Hutt before he died, but the data is corrupted.

What T7 can draw from it is that there was a plan to steal from the Resistance and the Hutt was to play middle man for a percentage. But the details are corrupted and T7 has to piece this all together from the scrambled data.

OOC: T7 is able to pull the logs but it looks like something has degraded some of the data.

"Well that tells us the Hutt was involved at the very least." He replied with a frown. "Still leaves a lot of questions though. Like who exactly the Hutt was going to play middle man for, and why the specialist would kill herself." He frowned softly. "Honestly we weren't really all that close to anything. So was it second thoughts, or maybe she was silenced?"

"Indeed." Niall said. One finger tapped his lip thoughtfully for a few moments.

He shook his head. "I should report this to the Commander. And to Yanos Kin."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Likely wise." z agreed with a nod.

"Anything you want me looking into while you are doing that?"

[Niall Organa]

Niall's lips quirked. "Use your best judgement on that."

He stepped out, putting in the call to Commander Malcom.

[Zanebry Varliss]

"My best judgement?" He raised an eyebrow, and looked towards T7, with a look that said. Was that really a good idea? "Well, if you say so." He finished as Niall went to make a call, seemed tgey both had work to do.

[Dapper Dog]

Commander Malcom isn't pleased by the news but in his usual way tells the Captain to handle it.
