What better way to bookend my day, Cole thought tiredly, massaging his temple as he pulled a mug of kaff from the machine.

Medics came rushing in, bringing in the injured from the rescue mission. Amongst them, Durasay was brought in on a stretcher. His heavy battle armor had already been removed, leaving him in the black bodyglove. He was unconscious, blaster wounds showing along his torso, cauterized wounds of burnt flesh.

Critical Injuries: 2, least severe is easy difficulty.

The man who rolled in after the unconscious Senator was actually standing, even though he looked similarly battered. "Doc, I am back, like a good patient!"

Cole ran a hand through his hair, he was pale and the shadows under his eyes were dark, but he had a job to do, and he got to it.

Teffa strolled into the medical room, she half-expected to see a waiting room filled with people in various grumpy but non-life threatening states. There would be the occasional embarrassing accident that would get pushed at the front of the line but typically there wouldn't be anything really serious. However, she was thinking more of a walk-in clinic than an actual military hospital. She blanched slightly when that smell she caught from down the hallway wasn't exactly a BBQ party but someone with multiple blaster wounds. Oh, man, not a place to just hang out and chat. Or make a sale. That guy is going to make it, right?

OOC: Cole uses a free Stimpack from his Medpac and 3 of Durasay’s Stimpacks to bring him to 18 Wounds, making him conscious again.

Odd, seeing the Senator being taken to the operation bay, returned to the section he had occupied since the night before, patted the droid and removed his helmet to look at his scalp wound in the mirror. He hissed, less in pain and more in general displeasure. It looked nasty. He began to remove beskar'gam to lay down and let the droids do some of the work. Removing the armour with one arm was a challenge, and tiredness was catching up with him, so it'd take a while. Seeing a Chiss wandering about, he took her for a nurse and greeted with a casual hand-raise before getting back to his own business.

Cole approached Oddyn, "how am I not surprised?" he deadpanned. There was little he could for the over-extended warrior, but try and patch up the worst of it.

"You've seen places deep inside me even I usually don't look into?" The Mandalorian smirked, feeling Cole was on the top of his doc game. "But that's enough rescue missions for one day."

Durasay coughed awake, still feeling the agonizing injury from earlier. His eyes took some time to adjust to the light. His breathing was slow, heavy and deep. The Pantoran started by moving his big toe, then each toe individually, making sure he could feel everything. The steady beep of a monitor was all he heard for a moment. The whirring of a droid. People talking.

A slight grunt, as he began to sit up, and assess the situation.

"Where am I..."

Standing in the narrow space between the two beds, Cole turned, "Senator, don't try to get up. You're back at the Strike Force camp, in the Medical Facilities." He would have placed a restraining hand on the Pantoran's shoulder, but he was still working on Oddyn's wounds and his gloved fingers were bright red with blood.

"Oh. Good." He slowly slipped back down onto the bed, looking up at the ceiling. "Doctor... It's good to hear your voice." He grinned. "I hope you've been well." Turning his head, he watched as the gifted surgeon tended to Oddyn.

"Nice shooting. You're a real artist with that repeater. Did we lose anyone?" Then a look to Cole.

"There were injured members of the resistance. Do you know if they will be okay?"

"Don't think we did. We lucked out in the end." Oddyn replied in Mando'a, quietly and inexpressively as Cole was now fixing his scalp.

Cole understood the gist of what the pair were saying, carefully ensuring that Oddyn's scalp wound was clean and free of hair before he closed it up. "I can check the intake, if they were brought here for medical attention it will be there."

Rekara was holding Dr. Cole's Kaff mug as he had almost dropped it when the Senator had been rushed in. She was almost breathless as she saw the state of the Senator, at how he had been rushed in. She watched the Doctor work, for the most part she learned from his work. The Mon Cal was intrigued at the method of the Doctor, very effective, although it seemed to strain his body. All the meanwhile, the Senator was not fully healed, at least not yet.

Rekara sat the mug down and closed in to Durasay. The treatment had been mostly finished and still he was wounded. The jedi posed her hand on the man, the pain of what had happened to him passed on to her, and she struggled through the pain to heal him.

Durasay felt the invigorating feel of the Force drawing the pain away from him. It was hard to believe, now, how fine he felt, compared to the critical nature he had come into the room.

Of course, that wasn't the only thing he felt. The Dark Side, the pull of fear from Rekara as she drew the pain into herself. He watched her closely.

This one has great fear... yet great desire to help... I must speak more with her...

"I would hope they did. There's a Zeltron woman, Lelia, Dr. Ormont. A smuggler with the Resistance. There were two others, as well, that we airlifted out."

“I can’t promise they were brought here, they may have been transported to the Resistance base,” Cole threw out his soiled gloves and retrieved his kaff.

"Good point, Doc." Durasay seemed to relax, slinking back against the bed, breathing in deeply. "I'm glad you're here. Clearly, your talents weren't over spoken of to me back at the Smuggler's Moon." He smiled.

"If we had needed to go jailbreak instead of the diplomatic option I found, we'd have been in good hands."

Cole uttered a humourless laugh, “I don’t know what I’d be doing with myself if these conflicts didn’t keep me busy.”

"So everybody have known everybody her since long time ago?" Odd moved eyeballs between both men.

“Not exactly,” Cole finished his kaff, rinsing the mug and setting it on top of the machine to dry. “The Senator and I crossed paths at the peace talks two years back. I’m not surprised we both wound up here at the same time, the Galaxy seems to like working out that way.”

Azura had hoped to sleep the worst of her injuries off, but it seemed the stinging from both stupid Dairus and stupid sand ackley needed more looking at. She rubbed her neck as she entered the medical area, and looked to get the attention of a medic.

The medical staff take a few moments to look at the wounds..
