Tucked in his thermal burnous, a lone wanderer was hopping between cresting dunes, watching columns of smoke in the distance. He was not exactly hiding his presence, but he was careful and did not ignore natural covers. The grip of his new arm on the Sidewinder was steady.

Darkening skies in a distance foreshadowed a grand sweeper coming.

"What's up mad dog?" Came the Mando'a question from the newly minted Kelborn.

"The storm is as bad for them as it is for us. They may be dropping equipment or reverting evac flight routes." He replied to the other dune-hopping Mando'ad.

Sabine nodded. "Hoping for something useful?" She asked plainly, her eyes sweeping around.

"Not really hoping, just fishing."

Grainy sand rolled down the dune with a drumming staccato.

"In a sea of sand there may be sandtrouts."

"Sandtrouts. Really." She looked at him askance. "You fish much?"

"Not really. But I take my metaphors confuse you." He chuckled, sliding down the moving slope, then hopping off it in a splatter of sand. "I've been told this region belongs to sentients calling themselves Sand Eaters."

""Never been much of a metaphoric type. Bolts are real, and those concern me. And blades. And bombs, I guess." She smirked. "Oh? Know anything about them?"

"Dar." He shook his head, looking around. "And it looks like they're not here."

"Can't really expect them to stick around after they've left the building now, can you?"

Hamelin decides to get out into the wastelands for a look around in the morning. He is a little surprised to see a couple of humans around out and about. He offers them polite bows. <Sdfium asdpome pockke asddime vpael voael>
"Top of the morrow to you."

"Part of the effort is not to create vacuums. We have to maintain pressure, not just be grateful that they decide to pull out on their own terms. How I see it." He moved his attention to the Gand that joined them quite suddenly. Seeing the robes, he got an inkling. "A Jedi?"

Sabine frowned. "Yeah, I can see that." She waved towards the newcomer.

"Still, it looks like there's nothing here. No Sand Eaters, no Kryze. Just a lot of sand, and obnoxious temperatures."

"That is correct. Jedi Knight Hamelin. I am surprised to find others out here."
