She flashed a bright smile. "I do try! Not enough people focus on the positive things in the galaxy, so someone has to." Which was an honest enough answer.

"Shame we don't have music like this back at the base then... hmmm..." she was trying to think of how to go another round on the dancefloor in the future, in more proper attire. "I don't think the usual Alderaanian getup would be suitable for this though."

Lyseil tried to imagine what that would look like. "But who knows, might work!"

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Well, I at least am happy for it, we could all use a bit more positivity on our lives, and you Lyseil, are a ray of sunshine." He said with a light laugh, she really was nice to be around.

"I have recordings like this on my ship." He offered thoughtfully, "Maybe we can get it playing in the Rec hall, clear some out of the furniture out of the way... Of course, that doesn't answer the question of a proper dress. I mean even when we liberate the city, I don't know if there will be many dresses to be found."

"Maybe... Of course, if you own a dress you aren't too fond of. I can try my hand at making some alterations?"

"Oooh... that sounds like a great idea!" She nearly lost a step there as she was so taken with the thought. "Playing music in the Rec Hall, I mean - make it into a proper night of R&R for folks with good music and a chance to dance. I think it's a great idea."

And she was pretty sure she could make it happen too!

"Hmm... Maybe? I'll have to check what I packed. I didn't really think about bringing too much of my wardrobe for a military campaign, to be honest."

This was rather nice, Lyseil though. Just dancing, chatting. And Z seemed like such a gentleman too.

"I like it. If the brass was alright with it, I could dip into my liquor cabinet as well, let people have something to drink besides just beer. Should likely still limit people to two drinks though." Z had missed doing this himself over the last year or so. Chasing down project evolution hadn't left much time for the finer things.

He chuckled at that. "I admit I likely packed too much clothing for a military campaign. The benefit of having the entire hold of a freighter for storage I suppose."

"Still let me know, if nothing else I have a friend here that's quite good with garments."

Lyseil had a dazzling smile. "I'm sure I can get it approved by the brass somehow!"

Going into a twirl, she felt she was really getting the hang of this. With proper shoes, she might even manage to do it like a pro. Or at least, so she thought.

"That sounds pretty cool, to have that much storage space to yourself! I probably packed too much myself..." she chuckled sheepishly. "Oh? Like a designer or something?"

"I'll look forward to hearing the good news then." Zane replied his lips spreading into a grin, even white teeth visible for a moment.

As she came back from the twirl, he pulled her into another half spin, letting her back land against his chest, arms crossed in front of her chest, his breath tickled her ear as he they swayed together in that position for a few moments

"It has its ups and downs, it can be quite hard to find something, but you almost always have what you need for an occasion as well." He let her twirl away, from his father possessive hold. "Yes, she has a great love for creating things of all different types."

"Wow, that sounds really amazing. I wish I had that kind of talent - making stuff, that is. Alderaanians are supposed to be artistic, but I never really had the talent to make anything." She was good at other things though, and thankfully for her, a well-educated person was also important part of Alderaanian values.

"Who is this friend? You seem to know so many people!" From any other woman, that might've sounded like a jealous streak, but from Lyseil it just sounded like genuine curiosity.

"I'm not far off from that either. " Z admitted with a soft chuckle. "If you're not counting music that is. Never had the knack for creation." Quite probably destruction though.

"A benefit of being a vagabond wandering the galaxy, if I remained a Sergeant I'd likely know half as many people." The military had a way of only introducing you to others in the military after all. "Shes a jedi knight though, named Arali Zian. We've been friends for a few years now."

"I don't think I've tried my hand much at music. Apart from some of the musical lessons when I was younger. So it seems like we've found something we both can't do?" Lyseil chuckled, enjoying just swaying close to eachother for a little while.

"Oh, a jedi knight? I didn't think vagabonds made friends with jedi knights... some of my cousins joined the order, and they're no fun at all. They'd never go dancing in jizz bars."

He joined in as she laughed, his lips curling into a amused smile. "True enough, though if you ever want to see if you still have any of the musical talents, I'd be happy to help how I can. You have a beautiful laugh, so if nothing else you may be able to sing."

"Vagabond?" That earned her a playful pinch from where his hand rested on her hip. "I prefer mysterious stranger." He offered faux haughtily. "And we mysterious strangers, are allowed to make friends with who we liked." This was followed by a playful smile. "I don't think it's that they'd never go dancing, as they simply can't dance. Alysele Cortess for example, is rather hopeless on the floor."

"I could always give it a try, even if it's been some years since I last did any singing!" She smiled confidently. She hadn't been terrible at it at school, just not the top of the class in that regard.

A small squeak escaped her as Z gave her a pinch. "Eep!" Then she flushed red.

"I don't think jedi would pinch at least," Lyseil said, pretending for a second to be be haughty and offended.

"Let's try sometime then, I do owe you a song after all, we can get to that as well." Her confidence was a good thing, at least in a way. As long as she wasn't completely off key, things should progress just fine.

"No likely not." He said fighting of the urge do laugh, as he dropped her into a dip. "But I never claimed to be one of them. I'm likely a bit too naughty for their order."

"I'm sure you are," she gave a knowing smirk. No jedi would pinch her so! And certainly not her boring cousins. Her hold tightened a little as he dipped her, more on instinct than because she thought Z would drop her.

"Ah, so... what kind of music is it that you play? This kind?"

[Zanebry Varliss]

That brought a grin to his lips, as he brought her up out the dip, and pulled her closely against him, a bit closer then absolutely necessary. "If you ever want to find out, just how naughty I can be. Feel to let me know."

It was hard to tell if he was serious or just playing, as he loosened his grip on her, letting them have a bit more space. "Honestly, I'm classically trained on the piano, but I play a bit from a lot of genres. This being one of them."

"Oh!" Lyseil literally flustered at that remark. Was this the kind of gentlemen that her teachers at princess-school had tried to warn her about...?

"Oooh... I... see..." she stumbled over the words, rather than stumbling over her or his feet. There was an awkward pause as she cleared her throat. "Well, I, uh, look forward to seeing - I mean - hearing your musical talent too."

Jax emerged from the throngs of dancing club goers with a grin on his face and a drink in his hand which he passed off smoothly on the tray of a wait staff that wandered by. He set the glass down smoothly following the woman's movements so she needn't even stop and he did a small spin ending looking at the dancing pair.

The joy of the evening was apparent with his wide smile as he regarded them "Z my friend you certainly don't plan to occupy all the time of the most beautiful woman in the club?" he asked with a laugh.

He smiled again, and nodded his head. "I'll send you a invitation in a few days." With Jax, arriving Z let the dance come to a natural end. Sliding away until they were at arms length, letting one of Lyseil's hands drop as he brought the other to his lips.

"It was a pleasure dancing with you, Lyseil. As Jax pointed out though, I promised not to take up all of your time."

"Ever the gentleman Zane." Jax said with a grin and extended a hand to Lyseil as the music began another song "May I have this dance?" he asked a smirk on his lips.

"It was a pleasure, Z," she smiled as he finished the dance with a proper kiss on the hand. That much seemed to be similar from the dancing she remembered from Alderaan!

Turning to Jax, Lyseil nodded gently and placed her hand in his. "It's an honor, Jax." Though so weird to be the center of attention!

"The honor is mine." He said with a smile and a small bow as he took her hand and stepped into her positioning very similar to Z.

"Let's see what he taught you." Jax said as the music started. Jax was an agile dancer but a little less experienced than Z was. The song was a bit faster and lent itself to a more active swing style but Jax was careful with his dancing partner, not getting too fancy just testing the waters see how she adjusted.

With a final smile towards Lyseil, Z left the two to their devices. The lady could more then handle herself after all.

Walking up to a higher level, he let's his gaze move across the hall. There was a certain Jedi he wanted to have a chat with, if the kid was here at least

Lyseil seemed to move easily enough, as long as the moves weren't too challenging. She had some skills with dancing, but jizz was still pretty new to her.

"I'd say he's a good teacher, yes-yes?"

[Jax Dolross]

Jax smiled "either that or you are just a skilled student. Must be the Alderaanian noble upbringing." He picked her up by the waist and turned before setting her down again all on beat.

"Its good to see you are just as good at letting your hair down as you are at paper work." He said with a bit of a teasing tone.

"What can I say, I have good work ethics in keeping on and off-duty very-very separate?" she chuckled as he put her down and moved into the twirl after. "All Alderaanian nobles learn to dance; just not this kind of dancing."

Lyseil smiled brightly. "So where did you learn to dance?"

"Well that's a great skill for an officer to have. Down time is very important. Work hard, play hard right?c he said chuckling.

"Well one picks up a lot of skills traversing the galaxy. I have a little formal training from military school dances and such So I can hold my own in a waltz. But ya know you move around, you meet people, pick up new skills from said people." He spoke while keeping up the higher paced dance moving in and out of twirls and spins. A soft smooth laugh escaped his lips clearly enjoying the night.

"With how well you've taken to it I assume you enjoy this new way of dancing?" He asked as he pulled her in from a twirl his arms wrapped around her.
