"Happens a lot?" She asked curiously, smiling.

"Every drinking night. And then some." He laughed between bites.

She laughed. "I guess I got off lucky the other day, huh?"

"Sort of. A normal kiss was more on my mind that evening." He let his lips curve up on one side, a move more apparent indirectly through the ruffling of his facial hair.

She smiled at that. "I can't say it wasn't on mine."

"Good to know." He raised his well-defined brow slightly and skewered a piece of saucy meat with his spork, then brought it to her lips across the table, holding it in his organic arm. "More justified to think about it on other occasions."
