Cole imagined a smaller version of Rav with big, dewy eyes, tinkering about in a starship engine, and the thought made him smile. "Is there an equivalent of a first aid course for starships?"

An amused chuckle was the response. "Take welder. Put on safety goggles. Take metal plate. Place plate over hole. Weld." He winked. "Obviously there's a bit more to it but that's the jist."

“Right, cover wound, apply pressure. I think I can handle that much.” He picked up his datapad again, “first things a surgeon learns: anatomy,” he pulled up the library he was building of manuals and spec sheets, “and what implements do what. What can’t you do without in your tool kit?”

"Some big shot who was arrested by the occupying Mando's" she replied, unsure it she should give mission details... military peeps were really uptight about those kind of things.

But then R-5 arrived

"Hey! We will be able to begin...So... supercharged magnets was it?"

"Eh, well you can't go wrong with your basic size 10A hydrospanner. Honestly though, as a beginner, just pick up a standard tool kit and figure out what works for you. I usually find I can make do with about a quarter of the recommended stuff, or juryrig whatever I don't have to hand... which accounts for all the bits that I throw at the junior engineers during training." He shrugged.

Baesal took an serious look at the repulsers

"That will be harder but I can try...mmh...you are a little short on what is needed to cover the cost of the parts but you are in luck: I have some spare materials already on hand"

She put the repulsers on the work bench.

Beasal got bad vibrations has she worked on the armor. She sensed the violence it engaged in and that almost threw her off

Second mod on Mando armor, boost from R-5, inventor, boost from the hangar: 2eA+2eP+4eD+3eB+2eF 3 advantage, 2 Dark Side the one auto-success from the bench makes this a success.

Odd watched her working, and maybe sensed some of the involved tension.

"So?" He asked finally.

''It was successful'' she replied, a little exhausted

''It was a close call though...'' she began stretching her arms

Cole adjusted his spectacles and pulled up some info sheets on his datapad. “There’s some customisations available that even I can manage to install, but a military stipend isn’t much, and I’m not sure I can afford it after I fit out the medbay. Even if I don’t expect trouble,” he half-shrugged and ran a hand through his hair, “all I need is something that can limp to the nearest shipyard. Maybe I should still get the shield generator?”

"Thank you." He nodded with a small smile. "I'll call it impressive as long as it works." Then he reached for the parts of his beskar'gam to put back on.

''Say'' she began ''Did I ask you why you were here the last time we spoke?''

"Maybe. I don't remember. Are you asking now?" He didn't stop putting the armour back on.

''Sure'' she replied, crossing her arms

"Banal stuff. I seek vengeance." He replied with a small shrug.

"Ah..." She was disconcerted by the banality of the thing "...vengeance is a common thing for mandalorians?"

[Oddyn Vizsla]

"Yes. Vendettas are in our cultural code." He replied simply, finishing putting the armour on. "See the gold on my armour? It virtually means pursuit of vengeance. Red is respect for my father. Orange is lust for life. Blue is reliability." He pointed to various colourations on him.

She nodded looking at the color

''Thus why you were angry when the paint began to flake.''

She pondered for a moment

''Come inside, I have something to ask you.'' She opened the truck's backdoor as she spoke

He nodded and followed, curious.

Baesal closer the door behind him and took a seat before she began

''Have you heard of the Star Cabal?''

The answers was a clueless shake of head. Odd was not the type to know anything about conspiracies.

She brought her knees closer to lace her hand around them

"Whoah. So you're a seer or something? I have crazy dreams too. Mostly about dead parents, war or sex though, not about the demise of the Galaxy." Odd didn't want to be impolite, but it didn't sound too reasonable. "Still, why are you telling me this? To go out and kill someone of that group?"

Rav looked to see if he was joking but humans could be hard work. "Yeah. Get the shield generators Doc. You know..." He stroked his muzzle in thought. "If you ain't fussy you can probably get the parts you need cheap, from a scrapyard. A good mechanic could probably get you up and running in a week."
