Sabine was panting hard, and held her training blade high, sweat pouring from everywhere, her tank top a dark grey from being soaked. "This kriffing leg is heavier than my ass, and that ain't light." She panted. "Thanks for doing this by the way."

"Your ass doesn't look so heavy to me," she said honestly. Deriss then smiled. "It's nothing for one of my clan."

"Mhm, well sitting on it for a month did nothing for me to get into form." She suddenly struck with her left leg, keeping weight on the new metallic right one. "Well, still. You got the raw end of the deal with me so far."

"So this is how you react to defeat. Every Mando'ade has their own reaction." Deriss relaxed her stance and laughed. "I make sure to kick their ass. Some drink a lot, some wallow." She smiled. "I'm glad you're not wallowing."

Sabine huffed as she launched another attack. "Well, I could wallow about how I failed at my one job, and failed to capture my opponent. How I let Oddyn get hurt, again. How I lost my leg in a stupid chase. But it wouldn't help." She tried to sweep the leg.

Deriss hopped back and shook her head at the woman. "Do you blame yourself every time someone shoots someone next to you?" The woman toyed with her blade. "My duty was to protect my father here. I failed at that but life goes on, doesn't it?"

"Mhm" she struck agian, though it was wide and sloppy this time. "Yeah, just... gah. I feel terrible about it, have to do better next time." She let out a breath. "What do you think of this operation? It's... weird. Really weird, I feel."

"The liberation? It is a mess." The woman continued to keep an easy footing against Sabine. "Although I have to wonder about Varo's children. Are they fleeing because they are consolidating their forces or are they truly repelled?" She shrugged. "I feel as if they are holding back."

"Yeah, I agree. They're not holding the territories all that much, considering..." She let out a sigh. "Things are going to get worse before they get better, aren't they?"

She stretched slowly. "Grah, this is annoying. This area isn't exactly helping either... while I understand why avoided doing anything to help the Hutts, we should've been more concerned about Imperial presence on a Republic planet, I feel."

"A potential insurgency and your command decides to ignore it. They trust 'peace' from the Sith Empire. And even if they did value it, there is clearly something of importance for them to risk coming here." The woman smirked. "It would also be folly to trust peace from the Mando'ade. Even if we were to join the Republic, there would still be a war internal."

"War internal or eternal, eh?" She relaxed her stance to rest a bit. "You mean with the non-Crusaders? Are you guys fighting against the Fetts here, then?"

"A civil war, I mean to say, if one were to say that any war between two Republic systems is one. We need a fight."

"Well, we already have one..." She shrugged a bit, rolling her shoulders to get some kinks out, sweat glistening on her skin. "I mean... would even all Mandalorians join the Republic if Kelborn did? I thought we were all over the place..."

The chieftain groaned and then went in hard to knock Sabine to the ground. "Mandalorians, all united, under the Republic," she said in Basic, "We would still attack the Mon Calamari or the Duros. That was what I meant."

Sabine groaned on the floor, and didn't move for now, just huffing. "Ah... that first part already seemed to be a pipe dream. Why the Mon Calamari? It's all water anyways." She replied with a smirk, and just relaxed on the floor for now.

"Well, we are supposed to all be united under Mandalore. Even that is up to question." The woman plopped down next to Sabine. "I think Mon Calamari must have excelent seafood. We could take over the planet for their food!"

"Yeah, our unity is almost perfect." She smirked. "Seafood? Meh, not big on it. Steaks, on the other hand..."

Deriss offered a hand. "You really should try some of the good seafood. I'll take you some time."

Sabine accepted the hand and pulled herself up. "Hrm... tempting. So, liberate Bankor, then invade Mon Calamari? No time for some rest in between?"

"Ah, already want to go to war with them? Spunky."

"Wait, you meant seafood without the conquering? Are we allowed that." She replied with a smirk.

"Well, I am chieftain. I can decide if we take the seafood through peaceful means." She patted one of her biceps. "Or maybe by a little force."

"Ah, the burdens of leading. Seafood, one of the great sources of anguish." She nodded firmly, before laughing... and snorting. "How goes the chieftening so far?"

"The chieftaining. That is not a word, Sabine, but I will accept it," she said in a mock stern voice. She then settled a bit of hair behind one of her horns. "Clan Kelborn has united under my banner. It is mainly those off-world who have sent words of concern. They simply do not know me well enough to know that is foolish." She gave a warm smile. "I'm sure they'll turn around."

Sabine looked at her smile. "You can be pretty scary, you know." She smiled her own warm smile though. "But I am sure your chieftaning will be long and joyful. Or something. Whatever joyful is for us now." She settled into a stance again. "Round 2?"
