A lithe woman walked through the encampment set up for the strike force after coming back down to the planet surface. She carried with her three pistols of unique make, and a dozen or more bruises of unique size and shape.

She took each step with a bit of a limp, still feeling the pain from the day before a bit... But as she traversed the final few feet leading up to the door of the commander she made sure not to make any type of lingering soreness visible to anyone on the outside.

She leaned in slightly and knocked on the door with a deep breath...

As Delmi arrived he can hear Jace through the door, “You know I have half a mind to have to thrown in the brig! You can’t just disappear…”

The voice paused as Delmi knocked and Jace opened the door, “Oh… Delmi, how can I help you?”

Delmi looked a bit surprised at the sudden sound of his voice followed by his abrupt appearance. After taking a moment to collect herself she asked, "Came to talk to you... and turn something in... Am I interrupting something? Waiting for someone?"

“Never have kids if you want to keep your sanity, but since you are here,” he stepped aside.

A young man sat at a table with his head down.

“My son, Theron,” he said introducing the young man.

"Hi," the young man said softly.

Delmi walked a couple steps forward into the room and waved weakly, “Hey."

She turned to look at Jace, “Didn’t know that you had a son.”

“I don’t make a big show of it,” Jade said honestly.

“It’s a complicated matter.”

“Because my mom is a Jedi master,” he added without preamble.

Delmi looked back and forth between them, “Oh... Well that’s rough. Mine was an imperial spy who got my dad disgraced from the military... Mom’s can be a bit disappointing at times.”

Then to the commander, “No offense to your partner. I’m sure she is lovely...”

“My mom isn’t disappointing, she’s a hero… it just means that we don’t get to be a typical family, I guess,” the young man lashed back bitterly.
