Chase wrote:"Lunda, kinda a brick of a name but whatever suits you I guess," she shook her head to one, to the other, it was hard to tell exactly which as she slid from person to person as she spoke. "Nothing's come down to me just yet, but that's the life. Gotta be ready at the drop of a dime when you're the fastest dealer of high powered laser bolts delivered directly to the enemies of peace and justice and all that, right?"

“I am not sure I have ever heard that,” she said honestly puzzled over the response.

“Just the name I was born with, but thanks I guess?”

"Young buck thinks he's hot stuff?" Chase cracks a grin, "Alright, I can work with that. Gonna have to keep up with your words then, it comes to matching up against those Mando's be sure to keep that bogey count in mind."

With a quick glance back to Lunda, "Don't worry too much about it master Jedi. Names a name, that's it."

"Might not shoot the straightest, but behind the stick, ain't no one able to touch me for pure speed, sir. If'n you think it'll be useful at any point, just lemme know." Garth replies without a hint of deceit. Whether it's actually true or not? Who knows, but he obviously believes it to be true.

Lunda followed along as she rubbed her temple briefly.

"Ya doin' ok there Lun?" Garth enquires softly, with a hint too much familiarity after he observes the Jedi's momentary...trauma.

“Sorry I get headaches every now and then, visions. My Master says I have a strong affinity for seeing possible visions of the future,” she said meekly.

“Just a minor headache, what were you saying?”

"Just shootin' the breeze, right Chase?" Garth answers.

"Nothin' too important, just a li'l flyboy bravado. Comes with the territory."

"Takes the edge off," she agreed with a half turned nod. "So.. headaches, visions, seem to come hand in hand for you master Jedi. Headache now, you see something interestin'? Maybe like a good spot to find a drink once we all make it down to surface?"

“I mean, just fragments, we are surface side… sorry no drinks that I can remember, but then I saw a massive explosion and felt… a great darkness and an uncontrolled wrath. People in a dark place, and an ultimate sacrifice but the faces were a blur. Mandalorians won’t give up without a fight,” she said rubbing her temple.

“Sorry, so are both of you are pilots?”

Garth nods.

"M'self only for a couple of years. Still feel more at home on the surface than up in space, but ever since th' Outer Rim Massacre, they needed more bodies up here."

He glances back and forth between the two. "Uncontrolled wrath sounds kinds bad."

"Well.. just brushing over the whole doom and gloom there but yea, pilot, unlike Mr.planet-side over here I've never quite been able to call something home unless it can move through space," she said, placing her rested foot firmly on the ground. Broadening her shoulders and taking a firm stance, "You can bet that I don't give up a fight none so easy either. Not in my nature, and I'll match any two of their pilots you send my way you can be sure of that."

Kicking her foot back up on it's rest she relaxed again, "So you can bet yourself that whatever big bad doom you saw waiting for us it ain't gonna happen on my watch."

"It's a person though, I know that much," she said quietly, her gaze far away.

Instinctively, Garth took a half step closer to Lunda.

"What you see, does it always happen like you see it? We can stop 'im right?" He asks hopefully.

“It’s not about changing the future or even following it, the things I see will happen, not always as I see them but they come to pass. Something will happen no matter what we do, some may not, I don’t fully understand it,” she said honestly.

“I mean it’s no surprise people are going to die, good people. Sometimes I wish they were clearer to me, maybe then it would be far more useful.”

"More evil in the 'verse than people to fight it, ah guess we can only do so much." Garth admits a little sadly.

"Just means more people need to step up and fight the little evils to keep them from becoming big evils," she said confidently.

"A little evil I can handle, happy to leave the heavy hitters to the likes of your bosses." Garth confesses. For he was many things, but he never saw himself as a hero.

"Hopefully missions like this will inspire others to rise up and fight too."

"Sounds a little too hit or miss for me to call those things vision, or whatever fancy name you wanna put to it," she scoffed, "sounds to me that you've just got your head twisted up in a thought."

Garth seems a little more willing to accept it at face value.

"I dunno, remind me to tell you about this time I was racing out on the Iziz track on Onderon, Chase. No visions like Lunda describes them, but I swear it felt like I was almost reacting before the other guys even moved. It's kinda the same ain't it?" He shrugged.

"Or maybe I AM just that damn good?"

"It's called instinct young buck, if you're worth your salt at all you've got it," she said to Garth while making a hand gesture with her hand at Lunda like she was the about to perform a card trick or something. Mostly because she was a Jedi.

Garth seemed about to speak up against Chase, but decided he'd had quite enough KP duty this tour already for insubordination.

"Sure thing Tenant. Got that in spades. "

With the exit from hyperspace becoming increasingly imminent, activity on the flight deck was ticking up noticeably. One such instance of that was an armour plated droid slashed in Republic blue going through final weapons checks before boarding it's designated transport.
