And we're go! Lucky roll gets Tethys to Lunda/Dynos in only one round--hopefully more of us have the same luck!

I'll be a little spotty this morning but I'll try to check in.

So we can get to the engine controls, but unless it’s something where one can be in and out in two rounds (and maybe even then), we probably want to have our designated person spend a round putting on the suit. We should find out if that takes piloting or mechanics or something, or if any warm body can do it.

Tethys has more to say to reassure Lunda if we have time for it... :?

I’m still prioritizing saving the ship, Lunda, and the crew over crossing sabers with Vitamin D, but I’m guessing we may yet have to do both.

Hmm. So I'd thought to pitch our friend into the radiation zone, but if Adversary counts for his check to resist being picked up that becomes a bit trickier (like 40% likely to fail instead of 30% likely :? ).

It sounds like Layne and Tethys get to act before Durasay, so I guess there's not going to be a chance to give Dura a clear shot before closing to melee?

EDIT: I think I'll try the toss, but then I should let Layne go first. Gonna make dinner now!

I guess I'll attack Dynos. As for the engine controls, that should probably be up to someone who actually has skills that might be relevant there. Which is very much not me.

Wow. I’m... going to wait and see how much of him is left before I roll anything.

I'm still waiting to see if that second overpower crit hits and lets me roll again

I guess he didn't have Cortosis then, did he definitely have it at NS?

I wasn’t there, but Niall showed me the thread, and he didn’t seem to have soak against lightsabers. Just lots of Parry.

Dynos never had Cortosis just high defenses but not high enough for multiple crits.

So did he die after that quip? Or unconscious? Or just gave up?

I mean if you mean to execute him he can be dead.

He won't be getting up.

We're going to waste some time arguing if you guys want to execute him, I fear. :?

I just realized that door logic could mean I screw up the rest of the ship when rescuing the crew. I'm considering going after Zash after all. I can't do much there, but maybe I can somehow force her to drop that holocron she stole before she makes her getaway? Then someone else can go save the crew? Maybe?

I have some Mechanics, and the check to open the observation deck door is only Average, so I can do that if you think it's better. I may take longer than Layne to get there and back but I'll still be in time.

I'll wait to see if Baes and/or Dura can get the engines squared away on the first Republic turn, then I'll go if nobody tells me not to. :P

Maybe Lunda can come assist...

What is there to do now? The engines have been delt with and the rescue team will go for the civilians.

I doubt Zash hung around for that long so...

Technically it's now round 4 and she doesn't escape till at least round 5 ("Zash and crew will leave in 5 rounds").

If you guys can make it down there in one round you'll at least be able to yell and shake your fists at her... or try some Mechanics wizard shenanigans to make her day worse as she escapes.

Are there weapon batteries I could activate to shoot her ship?

Could I lock her ship in the hangar?

Or rather can I lock the hangar entirely to make it impossible to enter or leave?

I appreciate the out of the box thinking but no, you can restore full controls to the bridge, but the weapons are not accessible from here, that will be a Hard Mechanics check with a setback due to the damage to the ship.

Defeating Zash will be in battle or not at all.

''Don't we can still try to lock her in the hangar if you want to test your mettle with her but you certainly cannot go there on your own...wait for us''

With that she entered the engine room

''What is it?''

I should point out that Layne was already sprinting toward the hangar. :?

Hmm... Tethys is on her way down to the engine room in the next "round," but I don't want to Kool-Aid Man in on Baesal and Dura's moment.

I'll give it a bit!
