Heroic Op to save lives.

Veeone becomes the first to officially volunteer for this.

Veeone is the greatest.

Rav will happily volunteer for the suicide bit, but has had plenty of opportunities for Events so for the moment I'm on the reserve bench awaiting your call ;)

I am in this.

I like combat events! And I'm willing to put Aran on the line (although probably not straight in to the sea, unless he was the last one standing). However, I'm not the fightiest, probably? And the All Hands! could scratch that itch. I think I'm at 3 limited events.

I'm fine for the suicide mission part too, but if someone really wants to jump on it, that's fine. I probably do the other event just fine.

I'll volunteer, but I have a feeling that neither of my guns will do much damage.

The usual Event Provisos apply for V1 here. If it doesn't start today then I am out due to lack of posting time until Thursday.

I'm not very good at this sort of thing. I can maybe hop in if need be though.

Ok, let's try to get it going

V1
Oddie
Rav - for Mech and/or Hacha - for Mech

Optional: Z, Aran, Galen

I say we need one-two heavy hitters? Think people with Breach on their weapons... Those folks look Cortosis though.

Arali is a heavy hitter, though fragile. Hopefully, he has a melee weapon I can parry. And I had a fight event yesterday, so anyone who wants to trump me can go right ahead.

Also, if I'm in, I'm going after Varo in boffer mode. Mando boss almost certainly has cortosis, so breach won't help, and his strain track might be significantly smaller.

I'll hop in.

I can put Tethys up as an alternate fighty person, I guess. She's only medium-squishy now (15 wounds, 4 soak). I have a bit of event fatigue (not to mention having done a limited one D11), so I'm not raring to do it. But we could pitch me in in the not-too-likely event that we run out of actually enthusiastic combatants. :P

I'll hold off on All Hands for a bit.

Seems like the interest in this one is understandably pretty slim.

If it remains empty I'll join sometime tomorrow

Unless we want to back it full of Red shirts.

-Odd

Interested:
Delmi, but only after the weekend
Hacha (tech)
Zane
Aran

Interested but Evented a lot/recently:
Arali
Tethys
Rav (tech)

Cool, I'll sit this one out then. Means I can just roll in the other event and not stress about joining or not. I've got a pounding head from kiddo waking up in the middle of the night, so not refreshing screens constantly is probably better for me ;)

I think at this point we're past the regular rules etiquette (24 hours since posting), so if people feel they need to hold out because they've been in the event can feel free to participate. :)

I suggest everyone aggressively use destiny to upgrade on defense! We can't take it with us... Aran definitely is because he can use threat/despair to reflect.

Edit: Speaking of, if I could go earlier, I can use Sidestep, same reasoning!

Well, it looks like Oddyn and I got hit, but he had committed to using a Destiny to upgrade and I don't think that got rolled.

Unless we do, Hacha is already down and needs a stim

If Varo attacked him.

Alright, so what's our plan? Do we stim Hacha and send him on his way while we can?

There's less damage now. Maybe Hacha is standing?

As for plan - if we can down the champ we're in less trouble. Oddy should gun something (champ maybe?) Hard then one of us who can tank more goes in on the champ with saber.

Whoever can melee tank best (might be me? 2 ranks of parry+dodge+destiny flip+armour)
