The downtime rules don't say anything about buying items (such as attachments etc) - can we also do this during downtime?

For the one modding you can do, are you still considered to be in the hanger (for the bonus)?

I rolled a Crit heal that was supposed to be 1D, but I accidentally rolled 2D. And it failed because of that.

Should I just take one of those D off (they were the same, so it doesn't matter which one)? Reroll? Or just go with my screwup?

I know I saw it somewhere but I can't find the Duty Rules anymore.

So we can get mods if we have the money and skill? Or skilled that can be paid for?

Are there any other options if we don't need equipment?

Subject: Downtime

Dapper Dog wrote:Players [...] can modify one piece of gear, adding mods or craft one item, to an attachment if they wish and they may recover one Critical Injury from the least severe to most severe during the downtime.

Players may complete some other task during the downtime, but this should be discussed with the GM an they may just say it needs to be resolved during the normal game days.

Do Triumphs do anything when you're modding and have already met successes?
Same as advantage - does it do anything?

(First time modding anything, so not sure on this as I rolled a triumph on a mod roll!)

Edit: extra question - how many times can you mod in a single timeslot? Once per item, once per timeslot, or until you fail?

One for the great nekoinu

Duel in the Sand (Heroic Opportunity): Any character (regardless of training) can decide to call for a Mandalorian Ritual Duel against a highly skilled combatant. Make a new thread and post a link to it here. The thread should be titled (D4 LM) Mandalorian Ritual Combat - [Insert Character Name]. In exchange for your duel, you will secure ten prisoners' safe travel.

Will the duel be at close/engaged range? They're up in the mountains sniping at us when we make the challenge right

Edit: Missed that this was a thing already - you have to use your ritual blade so it's a Mando only thing I guess?

How does trying Sense multiple times in a scene work? If I got 2 DS on my first roll, and chose not to flip a destiny to use them, can I roll again, and if so, when?

I imagine either a success doesn't last the whole scene, or you can roll multiple times a scene, or not both. If you can only roll once, Aran might have been ascared enough to take conflict and use both points.

In general I am not a fan of spamming a Force power till it works, so I would not using it again at least for this scene. The Dark side is clouding your senses.

OOC: It fit the scene so I went with it, but again spamming Force powers is frowned upon.

Very fair! If I had thought to ask earlier, I probably would have flipped on the first DD roll, so, not much difference.

When your squad exceeds Duty 100 they can turn in that Duty as Contribution to the Republic strike force. This can be done for one of three things, and unlike the book is an individual process; they can contribute for a Major Requisition from Badera Varn. They can also contribute to the Strike Force increasing Power by 2 times their current Contribution Rank, so for example if they are Contribution Rank 2 then they would increase Power by 4. They can also increase Trust with the Resistance by .2 plus an additional .2 Trust per Contribution Rank. So as above if they have Contribution Rank 2 they would add .4 Trust.

What counts as a 'major requisition'? Sorry to ask a dumb question, but do you mean high rarity stuff?

Also my question further up got missed I think

Question: for Neko's even day 4 can I use the Bubble shield to give my allies protection? I can't do much besides that

Can we add our own monies to the Requisition equipment?

If the VIP is aided, then increase the difficulty of all checks in this event by one, so Average checks become Hard.

From the D4 event.

Is it really the intention to make checks for the event harder if we help the VIP, or should that say 'If the VIP is NOT aided'?
