He weighed his options for a moment. He honestly hadn't considered what he would do when he found his prey. The raptors were another complication, but he kept his focus on his target for now.
The relationship between predator and prey was a natural part of every ecosystem, regardless of how gruesome it might seem. Galen had no qualms about killing an animal he was hunting, if it served a purpose. Life shouldn't be wasted. He didn't kill for sport and he didn't intend to kill anything tonight.
He stepped into the open, trying not to spook the creature too much, while placing himself between it and the raptors. But, he couldn't find the peacefulness within the Force he'd hoped to channel and let it go.
He expected there would be some running now.
