[Dapper Dog]

The dynamic trio was given coordinates to arrive at within the system. When they arrive they find a ship waiting in the shadow of a moon of the local gas giant. The ship has no ID but hails them with codes to dock. It is larger than their shuttle, perhaps a frigate at best. The design is unfamiliar to Rav, though it looks custom and well appointed.

Sensors have a hard time tracking it, registering nothing… several ships or ghost images on the screens. Assuming they dock they are greeted by the woman they spoke to on Yancey’s ship.

She greeted them, “The Clever Man is pleased with the data he has been getting. Please follow me.”

The hallways are clean and metallic, at her side is a sleek looking feminine shaped droid.

Rav took it all in with an almost academic interest as they approached. "That's quite the ship. I ain't readin' a thing." He looked at Sara and Greis with an expression that was a mix of respect and concern.

Once they were on board he kept his eyes mostly on the design but gave the woman a professional nod. "Good. Once the defenses were out and I'd shut down the systems it was pretty straightforward."

He looked across at Sara wondering what she thought of all this. The robot was a curious design and he made a note to ask Veeone if he'd ever encountered anything like it.

Sara seemed concerned but she was following his lead for now. Greis was his normal quiet self.

The woman replied as she walked, “Excellent. The Mandalorians are going to fold, at best they can try and buy time but the Republic is going to win. An acceptable outcome but only one small step in the real conflict, although I do take some small solace that I was correct in the outcome.”

She paused at a door that seems to head into the bridge. She turned and said, “There is no turning back from this point on.”

"At this point it's only a question of when." The wolfman looked from one of his comrades to the other before meeting the Fancy Lady's eyes. That was how he thought of her. Probably Zanebry's type. "Didn't come this far to turn around with my tail between my legs. Lead on."

[Dapper Dog]

She stepped aside and said, “Then welcome.” The woman gestured for Rav and crew to enter a spacious bridge with a few droids manning consoles and a figure sitting in a the command console in armor with a helmet. It was not some form fitting feature but protective armor with a darkened visor.

This armored person spoke with a modulated voice, “Welcome to my organization.”

Rav nodded and walked onto the bridge. Looking around he noted that aside from his own people only the woman appeared to be organic. Of course there could be an organism inside that suit but he had the feeling this was something else he was dealing with. He moved closer, getting a better look at the commander.

"Thanks. You know, in all honesty I didn't expect to be here. Given the trail I've traveled." His gaze fell on the tall woman. "But your colleague made a convincing argument, and that device I installed for you was a high-end Intel gathering device. " He returned his attention to the armour. "So I'm inclined to believe she was telling the truth. What should I call you?"

Now they were here Rav found he felt surprisingly relaxed.

[Gena Yon]

Gena removed her helmet and said, “You can call me the Clever Man, Rav. I have followed your progress with great interest. You as well Sara, and Greis, well we can always use a strong fighter.”

“Our mission is clear, bring an end to the tyranny of the Jedi and the Sith. The galaxy should be guided by reason and logic, not witchcraft and mysticism.”

She looked at the woman who stepped inside the room with the droid. “Welcome to the Star Cabal.”

"For a moment there I thought you were gonna be some kinda distributed machine intellect. Guess I've been reading too much sci-fi." Calmly he walked towards her and offered his real paw. "Hey, I'm an engineer, I ain't got time for mumbo OR jumbo."

Looking at the assembled group he gave them a thoughtful if toothy smile. "Thanks. That's quite the name. I've never been in a Cabal before, but I do know a thing or two about being in a team. Sara and me, we've been through more than I can remember."

His thoughts went back to Yancy and he sighed. "So, where do we go from here?"

[Gena Yon]

The Clever Man was thoughtful and said, “For now you will return to Republic space, we have agents that will make contact with you. Before you leave we will be imprinting you with subdermal tattoos in your oral cavity for identification. You will establish your Star Cabal name, your choice, and for now observe.”

“We have interests with events transpiring on Alderann and a new world called Tython. Either sound interesting to you?” she asked.

That all seemed pretty reasonable, even the tattoo part didn't really surprise him. "Never did get one of those army tattoos." He thought about where he had come from, and where all of this was going, and realised his new name was easy.

"Hmm, I know a bunch of Alderaanians now, thanks to the campaign. So I can find reasons to be there whenever I'm needed. That bein' said, there's nothin' quite like exploring a new world. They'll need help with buildings, power, repairs, all that sort of thing. Tython, then."

He looked over at Sara and Greis. "Oh, and you can call me Revenant. It means vengeful ghost, or close enough."

[Gena Yon]

The Clever Man smiled and said, “Tython is of great interest to us. We have an agent planning to lead to a group of twi’lek settlers to the planet once it becomes public. You can work the Matron in the interim and support her once she is planet side, Revenant.”

Sara followed suit and created the moniker, Bastion, and Greis said Silence.

Rav nodded, it would be a good opportunity to get out into the wilderness for a change and explore. "Sounds like we're all set then. I guess I'm curious about your, our, supply chains. What sort of funding do we have for operations? Equipment requisitions? Transport?"

In a way it would be telling of the level the Star Cabal was running at. "I mean, is this going to work better as an independent operator, or am I more useful staying in the military?" He gave a thoughtful snort. "Pretty sure I'm owed a shitload of backpay and about two years of leave..."

[Gena Yon]

“We do enjoy independent operators but we have assets in both militaries as well. We have specialized supply chains that can get you needed equipment for a specific mission. On Tython, Matron would be your handler of csorts and she would make sure you have what you need to carry out that recon mission. Tython is a great opportunity to observe and catalogue Jedi operations in the field,” she said calmly.

“Our resources are significant; we have extensive backers all across the galaxy, some knowing most… anonymous and ignorant of where there investment is actually going. Compensation is competitive and significant,” she finishes.

"Alright then, I'll take it as it comes, this campaign ain't quite over. Maybe I can choose my own assignment after this." His attention was drawn to his replacement arm. Yeah, the Republic military would probably be fine with that. What with the coma, and now the arm

"Competitive and significant, huh? Let me guess, that still wasn't enough for ol' Yancy-pants. Man never could turn down a credit. Well, I ain't in this for the money Clever Man, but I'm sure it'll help." He had shitloads of equipment to maintain afterall.

“What would you prefer, maybe we can make adjustments to give you more freedom,” she said moving to the galaxy map.

“We have assets that can give you some freedom on your next assignment.”

[Rav Devaroo]

"Yeah, that sounds good. I've been in the Republic military long enough to know how it works. Haven't known much else for a while " He gave Sara a knowing look before turning to the Galaxy map.

"Now I'd heard rumours of Tython. Where is it exactly? Must be somewhat remote. There must be some activity from the Engineering Corps if they're putting up settlements now."
