In the wake of the fighting, when all was said and done and the people rejoiced. Chase went to the hangar to receive a special guest, a ship named the Aurean Pass.
Hooking a thumb in her belt she watched as the loading plank lowered to her. Stepping forward from inside the ship was one of it's two occupants, the clanging of metal against metal ringing out.
"Oh Master! How good it is to see you again! I was nearly worried to rust when I heard you had deployed and oh, the horror of hearing what troubles you would face. Why I was just saying the othe-" C3-N4 was cut off abruptly by an approaching droid from inside as well.
"Oh be quiet you pile of bolts. Ever so you worry needlessly again, can't you for once pull yourself together and act with the dignity this ship deserves? Why I know not why the Captain has yet to drop you in the scrap heap you so rightfully deserve with your defective circuits," said 2V-2B, "Should we make ready to be away, Captain?"
"Not yet," Chase grinned as she stepped up the walk passing the two of them. "Just needed to check up on some things while we had the chance."
T7-B8 rolled up behind her and continued along, beeping at the Imperial model.
"Oh, you," said 2v-2B, it's voice module displaying disgust. "You might be high and mighty now but you wait till it is I that am the one to be of most service to the Captain. When that day comes I will be sure to remind you of it for eons."
T7-B8 beeped mockingly and moved up into the ship.
"Why- I never."
