First off for languages, you can decide what languages you understand. Droids tend to understand most spoken languages in the galaxy. So this is really up to the player to decide if they understand or not.

Second communication via communicator is a thing. This will allow some players to be in more than one thread in a single time slot via comm links, this is pretty simple. If you make a call to someone they can just reply in your thread though please note you are speaking via comm. Link or hologram or however the communication method.

This simplifies things for me and all involved. I trust players in this regard.
