Zane was outside his ship, watching the hustle and bustle of the flight deck. He didn't enjoy it here, stuck on a military vessel, it was about three times worse then being on base.

Reaching into his pocket, he retrieved a cigarette and lit it up. This was probably a no smoking vessel, but really he didn't much care.

R4 rolled up, another Republic soldier in tow to ze's disgruntled feelings. *Greetings. May I come aboard?*

"Certainly." Z offered, taking a long drag of his cigarette before snuffing it out between his fingers. "Go on up, I'll be right behind you."

The droid rolls up the ramp, gratified to be leaving the Republic soldier behind. Ze moves to the common room and waits for Z to arrive.

Z wasn't far behind, having stored away his cigarette for later smoking, and he stepped into the common room moments later. "So is there something I can help you with?" He asked, eyes focused on the little droid.

The droid bobs ze's chassis. *I would like to formally accept your offer of work aboard your ship, provided it is still available.*

"Its still open, though I should let you know that most of my current investigations have already been completed." There was only a few things left to do, and most of them were personal.

"I'm not sure when more work might come in."

The droid spins ze's headpiece. *Will you be moving on to another area after your missions are complete?*

"Yes, it might be a little while yet. But, there is always more work to be done, so there will be money for you. It just might not come immediately." Which may or may not be a factor.

The droid bobs ze's chassis. *That is acceptable. I have no need for immediate payment at this time.*

R4 pauses a moment. *Has something occurred to cause you to stay longer? Or are you staying until the end of this conflict?*

"The end of the conflict. Maybe a little while longer, I'd like to make sure some of the things I've worked on were safely finished."

He looked the droid over. "Were you wanting to leave sooner then that?" Maybe the droid was in a bit of a rush.

*A more rapid departure would be optimal for myself, but I am able to wait on your requirements. Work must be properly carried out.*

The droid's alarm subsystems began to go off and ze chose to change the subject. *Do you have any thoughts on where the next stop may be?*

"Not at the moment, there is always a mess or two in the galaxy. Maybe Hutt space? Or somewhere else in the Outer Rim. It would be nice to spend some time away from things, and there is always plenty of money to be made."

He looked the droid over. "If I'm taking on a partner though, you get a vote."

The droid booped a surprised sort of affirmation. *The Outer Rim sounds optimal. I have never gone that far. I have some knowledge from the holonet. But it would have a great deal of new learning to accomplish. All that I have heard of Hutt space is of someone being stabbed there. It does not sound...safe.*

"It can be rather dangerous if you dont know your way around. I'm pretty good as a guide though, I've spent enough time in that part of space to avoid the more dangerous areas after all."

"Still, we can avoid it until you're a bit more comfortable."

The droid spun ze's head piece. *Though I have some experience with places like that, it might be optimal to wait until I become more knowledgeable on my own.*

"That sounds logical." Zane offered with a half smile. "I suppose if all that's agreed on though, I should say welcome aboard R4OXY, make yourself at home."

He spread his arms in a extravagant gesture, as the droid really didn't have a hand to shake.

The droid booped a positive sound and stated, *I will endeavor to serve in this partnership at my optimal capacity.*

"Thank you R4OXY." He offered the droid a smile. "Anything I can do to help you get comfortable?"

"I don't know of you have anything to move in or something."

The droid spins ze's head piece. *I have only a few items to bring aboard. I can bring them from their secure location at a more optimal. I thought I might also purchase some tools while we are here, in order to facilitate easier repairs in the future. Is there anything you would require?*

"Nothing jumps to my mind, but I'm no expert in that vain." He paused thoughtfully. "I can always use more work done on my blasters though, and a few others pieces of gear I have require some looking after."

"Other then that, anything you think you might need."

The droids bobs ze's chassis. *I am able to perform those functions for you. If you can indicate where I might best stow my belongings and recharge, I can look over a few things now or later if that is optimal. *

"Alright, right this way." He began leading the droid down the hall. "There is a empty bunk, you can use that for everything you need. We can even put anything there you don't require down in the hold." The droid might as well have a room all on it's own after all.

*That would be optimal. I will have no need for a bunk, merely a convenient charging port. If I obtain enough credits, I may consider installing an oil bath however. It is optimal for maintenance of many droids.*

The droid followed close on his heels, not quite able to contain ze's desire for a space of ze's own.

It was a few doors down from where Z's own bunk was, not too close, but not too far away. "This is it." He said as they arrived in front of it, and he pressed a button to let the door slide open. "It's not much, but it's yours." The room wasn't overly large,and dominated by a bed, and a few other oddsand ends. If a few objects were moved, it would likely suit the Droids needs perfectly though.
