[Zanebry Varliss]

The view from the Valiant Star was a decent one, as Zane stood on the observation deck looking out at the stars. After his meeting with Niall, he needed to sober up a bit, and a cigarette usually did that. Lighting one up, he took a drag and watched the stars, there wasn't anymore ongoing space battles to interrupt the view. The Mandolorians were dead, or they had for the most part pulled out.

It was about time all of this was over, or close enough to call it so. Honestly he was happy to see the end of it all. Well, the end to some of it, there was still more then enough fighting to come.

Garth was heading toward his bunk, ready to turn in for the night when he came across Zane. He thought about sneaking up on the contemplative man, but knew he'd never manage it.

"Looks almost peaceful out there don't it." He remarked, announcing his presence. "You'd almos' never realize what's been goin' on planetside."

[Rav Devaroo]

Garth wasn't the only one still up. Much like Zanebry, Rav was in a contemplative mood and decided to head up to the Observation Deck for a better look at the planet. Spotting a couple of comrades he gave a wolfish smile and walked over.

"I'd give my left arm for that war to be over. Oh. Wait. Hey guys, sure is quite the view up here."

Garth smiles at Rav's approach and extends a hand to shake Rav's non metallic hand.

"Let Jenkins near that contraption and ye just might at that." He jokes, before his smile drops away slightly.

"Glad t' see ye'r still upbeat, despite yer injury Rav."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Garth, Rav." Zane offered the pair a smile. "Yeah pretty peaceful, which is a nice change of pace " No fiery explosions in view."

"Still no offense Rav, but I'm happy in only cost one arm between the three of us." Though it had cost a few others limbs as well.

"I owe you some nice oil for it, well that it some whiskey."

[Rav Devaroo]

A raspy chuckle was their reward. Rav put his hands on his hips. "Can't keep a good engineer down, right? I was pretty mad about it, but maybe I can tune this thing up. No offense taken Zanebry, but I'll take that whisky. An' the oil too I guess."

He grinned and thumbed at Z while looking at Garth. "Man's got a nose for the good stuff."

Taking a long drag from his cigarette Zane reached in his pocket to produce a flask, and passed it towards Rav. "Why dont you split that between the two of you. I'm trying to sober up a bit."

"I'll get the oil to you too, I just dont have it on me." Shaking his head, he looked between the two. "Do you think we'll get a break after this? Or will another war start up in a tear or two?"

[Rav Devaroo]

Rav considered that for a few moments before taking the flask in his paw and raising it in salute. "Here's to the fallen. May their long sleep be easy." After a swig he swirled it around in his mouth, enjoying the flavour, and passed it to Garth.

"It's good stuff Garth. Don't wanna drag this down too much, but there's no way this peace's gonna last."

"Never does," Garth agreed solemnly as he took a small hit from the flask.

"The fight always continues, makes me wonder if there's ever gonna be a path to peace, at least fer th' regular folk just trying t' get by day to day."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"If there is, it's not going to be a easy one." That was for damn sure. There was far too much madness in the galaxy they lived it.

"Still, nothing wrong with looking for it."

[Rav Devaroo]

"There's a path for sure. It just ain't gonna be easy." He sighed and stared out at the planet. "Then again, nothin' worthwhile ever is."

A faint smile crossed his features. "We did good here. It was worth losing an arm for."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Yeah, putting a stop to Eralynn and Varo. Two people willing to kill millions for a personal vendetta." He shook his head. "I suppose part of me can understand that type of rage... Just not the actions the took in response to it." They were far too unfocused." He flashed a smile at Rav. "I'd happily lose a arm to if stopping this all required it."

"You think you're going to fancy that one up with a bunch of Gadgets? Or try and make it look slightly normal?"

[Garth Wayne]

"Ah think that we all have somethin we feel strongly enough about t' seek revenge over, but ye're right Zane, the sheer scale of this were mind blowing."

"Ah'm owed a favor or two from Badera, Rav. If you need an upgrade, feel free t' cash in on my good name."

[Rav Devaroo]

A solemn nod showed his agreement with the general sentiment, but it was followed by a raspy chuckle. "What kinda Gearhead would I be if I didn't 'fancy it up'? Heh, yeah, I got plans fer ol' lefty here but it's okay Garth - I gots plenty of favours owed too. You spend it on yer bike, or maybe yer own Starfighter?"

He flexed the fingers of the left hand and stuck his tongue out at them. "I mean, I'm grateful they had one that took, but a money's hand? Are they serious? I need somethin' I can run on."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"You have been looking for parts for tallulah, you should get some. Show her some love as it were." The man seemed to care for his machine after all.

"Or are you still a bit short for that?" It was a possibility.

[Garth Wayne]

"That was mah plan," Garth confirmed to both men at mention of his precious ride.

"But ah couldn' in good conscience be so selfish when a good friend might be in need." He explains. "If ya sure though?" Garth confirmed, even as his hands were rubbing together like a kid in a candy store.

[Rav Devaroo]

Rav clapped Garth's shoulder with his good paw. "Ain't nothin' so important Its come between a man and his ride." He chuckled and looked back out at the planet below.

"So, what's next for you two? Any big plans once we're finished here?"

[Garth Wayne]

"Nothing huge fer me, sticking around a bit t' hang wi' the monks from th' jungle. Ah don' think the jedi are the right path fer me t' learn about mah 'bilities, so I might see if the Way as the monks know it is more mah style."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Well, I think that friend of mine Galen is stickign around too, so feel free to chat with him as well... He's interested in learning a lot like you are." Zane said, before taking a drag from his cigarette.

I've got a few things to look into myself.. I like to see things finished after all, and there are some loose ends wiggling about." Hurn, Luth, Orar Varad... Too many things now that he thought about it.

[Garth Wayne]

"Sounds like it might be quite busy. I think Tethys is contacting th' Council 'bout the darkness in the jungle, might be Jedi ev'rywhere round here in a few months."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"That almost makes me happy to be elsewhere." Z flashed a grin.

"Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the company of the occasional jedi, but put too many of them together and things tend to get a bit preachy for me."
