Rounding out his morning on duty in medical, Cole poured out the cold kaff in his mug, and made a fresh drink, “good news, Emmed,” the droid beeped attentively, “I’ve got a message here from Jedi Zyn, and she says she can install those specialist implements we talked about.” The droid bobbed and whistled in what Cole hoped was a happy tone.

"Doc! How goes!" Sabine was amusingly awake for some strange reason as she clanked into the clinic.

“Sergeant, take a bed,” most of the patients had been discharged before the strike force pulled up stakes, though one bed was occupied by the sleeping form of Eralynn, still under heavy sedation. A spherical, hovering droid, around the size of a huttball, seemed to peep curiously over the doctor’s shoulder.

Knowing the strike force needed to be fighting fit for the final stages of the engagement, Cole got to work.

"Aye aye sir!" Came the chipper response even as she was eyeing the woman who did this to her. "Aw yeah, you're still the best." She smiled widely afterwards, the pain meds obviously helping.

"How you doin' doc?"

“Autoclave please, Emmed,” Cole instructed the droid, which booped and zipped off to sanitise itself, “better than yourself, I’ll wager.” He ran a hand through his hair, “you ready for the showdown?”

"Ready as I'll ever be, I guess. Unless you could put a grenade into my leg. That would be sweet. Grenade kick!" She seemed exuberant as ever when on painkillers.

"That seems hazardous. What about some sort of dispensary system, store grenades and then you boot them across the room?" His tone wasn't jovial, but it was likely that he was kidding.

"Yes! That sounds perfect." She started waving her leg... but not the metal one. "It could work! you're brilliant doc!"

Sabine jumped off the table, wobbling a bit. "Man, you're wasted in here. You should be starring a medical holo serial or something!"

Cole pulled an expression of mock horror at the suggestion, before looking concerned and putting a hand out to steady her if it was needed. “Easy now, we don’t want people getting ideas about upgrading themselves with flamethrower arms and RPG-launching knees.”

"Of course! Knees are for blasters, elbows are for concussive grenades. Duh." Sabine seemed to wobble happily. "You should start a business doc."
