"Thank you, Rekara. I should probably learn to do that myself."

At least this time Lyseil was able to move to medical on her own engines, limping a little from the punishement the Mandalorians had been dishing out as she had helped smuggle out a group of youngsters from the mass fighting.

She patiently found a place to sit to wait for treatment.

It didn't take long for one of the med-droids to come over and begin treating her injuries. They weren't the worst, but it was good to have them properly tended to. And it made her feel a bit better.

Heading over to Princess Sparkles, Garth whispered quietly.

"Did we get em all Sarge? Field Commander told me t' come straight t' medical so ah didn't see. Did we save 'em?"

"I..." she winced a bit from the prodding of the medical droid. "I think so...? I didn't see everything, but I think so?"

Lyseil gave Garth a reassuring nod and smile. "Good work out there, ensign!"

"Others did more," he admitted candidly. "But s' long as ev'ryone pitches in, we c'n accomplish anything right?"

"But ummmmm....what're we gonna do with all the displaced people?"

"I'm sure Command has prepared for that, Ensign. I will let you know the details, once I'm out of here. Doc' here is telling me to take it easy at least for a couple of minutes. Give the painkillers some time to kick in properly." She offered with a confident smile.

Hamelin follows Rekara and lets her tend to his wounds. <Grick>
"Thank you Padawan Rekara. It seems like the medical bay is as busy as ever. I hope you have been taking care of yourself as well."

/ Thanks for the healz. Though just pointing out that Hamelin is a knight, not a padawan. /

Jax sees Lyseil walk in and walks over to her freeing up the bed he was occupying since he was mostly put together again.

"Well well fancy seeing you here, you get those injuries shielding civvies I guess?" he asked with one quirked eyebrow.

Hacha limps into medical, a series of scorch wounds crossing his body, and with the widened eyes of someone who has taken a lot of stimulants in order to be upright.

"I think that I might be in need of assistance." He raises a hand, noticing a familiar face. "Oh! It is Lieutenant Lyseil. How is the gun working out for you. I seem to be better at making them than dodging them. Ow."

Cole had treated his minor wounds on the way back from Vantage Core Station, and now joined the medical staff. “Specialist Tsuko, please,” he guided the Duros to a bed.

"No, it's Admin Tsuko." Hacha slurs a little as the exhaustion, wounds and drugs pumping through his system leave him a bit delirious. Still, he complies with the doctor's orders and settles onto one of the beds.

Cole patched the last of the wounds, smoothing a clear synthskin gel over them. The artificial skin rapidly took on a hue closely matching the duros' flesh, it would act in every way like the layers that had been seared off by the weapon blasts, peeling like a sunburn when the skin underneath was healed.

A quick injection to Hacha's neck would make him feel a little less woozy, as the cocktail of stimulants and kolto coursing through his veins were metabolised by counter-agents now that they were no longer needed. "Don't try to get up too quickly, a nurse will bring you a glass of water, drink the whole thing."

At some point, Layne would step in, once again looking to be in pretty bad shape, and frankly a bit out of it in general. She sat herself down quietly somewhere, and waited to be seen to.

((Should have either 5 or 4 wounds out of 17. Also have 2 criticals to deal with.))

Sometimes it was the most minor of complications that proved to be the hardest to track the source of. Despite seeing to her wounds, Layne's diagnostics pointed to something out of balance that he couldn't quite put his finger on. It would bother him until he found the answer.

"Mr. Dolross, mr. Tsuko," Lyseil acknowledged both men. "I'm flattered, mr. Tsuko, but I'm only a sergeant. But thank you for the job you did on the weapon; it packs quite the punch now!"

She gave a wave to the Duros as Cole helped him to a bed for treatment. The blue-skinned mechanic had seen better days.

"Mhm, yes-yes, helping out with defending the civilians today." She nodded to Jax. "Same for you?"

Jax nodded to Cole as he came and retrieved the duros but did not want to bother the man while he worked.

Turning back to Lyseil "Yeah ran around finding vantage points to lay down cover fire so the civilians could get out some wounds from mandos shooting back a few wounds from falling off stuff." He said with a small chuckle. "That was one hell of an afternoon, heard they took down the big gun so it was all worth it.

"Thanks," Layne said, not really looking at Cole.

It was obvious she was lost in her own thoughts. So many questions, worries, moral conflicts. Most importantly, what had Zash accomplished with all of that? How much did she know?

Cole knew better than to press Layne. Some of the details would be obvious when the report to Command was filed, others would remain known only to those who had been there. He stayed by Layne’s bed, a reassuring touch on her shoulder to remind her she wasn’t alone.
