Throne of the Nekoinu

Hey guys, figured I'd post this thing up. I had fun even if I was less active than usual. As a general announcement, I will not be GMing for Ziost. I am hoping that somebody will take up the mantle there due to the size of the game. I may return for games afterwards but I believe it would be best if I took a break from the position.

A shame to hear you won't be GMing for Ziost, but sometimes we all need a break. :) I hope to see you back in the GM Chair eventually, since I enjoy the stories you make and the NPCs you create!

As always, it was fun interacting with you. And I'm a little sad Nai'tiri never got to meet Deriss on-screen, but I can imagine those two probably got along prior to this. :D (one hot Mando hanging out with another hot Mando)

What was your favorite moment this game?

I admittedly got teary writing about Aaroth wanting to shoot Eralynn in the back of the head to prevent her imprisonment. It was suitably dramatic, and I liked Tethys interrupting it in the classic Mass Effect way.

Rav is also the bestest of boys :D

Thanks Neko, I'm glad I was able to taking falling damage for you ;) That Eralynn fight seemed like a total suicide mission but I felt like it needed to be done. It ended up being just as hard but much cooler than I was expecting. The duel at the end, and it's aftermath, was great.

I also really liked the cooperation events that you put up. Those were really nicely pitched and a great use of the narrative game mechanics imho.

Thank you for GMing once more! I guess I didn't get gassed this time at least...I wonder what happened to Marvo.

Thank you for the Moot and Delriss! Clan Kelborn stepping in was pretty awesome for Sabine's story, even if I feel I should have done more :)

That whole thing was amazing, seriously. Poor Aaroth! (I mean, he's still a terrible person, but I really felt for him. :D )

By the numbers, it was really pure chance that she ended up facing Tethys. She had 25 Wounds and 8 Soak so she was really, really tough to kill.

I did my best with the cooperation events! I wanted to have something other than combat that would require a lot of planning throughout.

Teffa wrote:Thank you for GMing once more! I guess I didn't get gassed this time at least...I wonder what happened to Marvo.

Ah, this is part of the reason why I'm quitting. I didn't resolve nearly enough things. With Marvo, he's probably run off to be more underground and smuggle only to the Resistance. Teffa, on the other hand, was able to get away cleanly!

Deriss scenes are very, very amusing. I am also glad with how they came out, seeing as Kyr'ad's death was completely improvised.

Thank you for making it great! Couldn't have done it without a proper protagonist!

Thanks for GM'ing, and I definitely wouldn't mind seeing you GM for Ziost as well, but if you feel the need to take a break that's totally understandable of course.

Thank you for all the hard work you put in. We didn't interact much this time, but it's always fun reading your threads with others. Good job, a break has been well earned.

They were certainly the worst! They did have Deadly Accuracy >.>

Aw, the sentiment is surely appreciated. Regardless of my position, it's going to be weird to not see Layne there at Ziost :D

Yup! I had some good moments, but I think I was also way busier than I anticipated. Going to a convention ate up so much of my time in Session 4.

Nekoinu will definitely enjoy using her neko bed more, or is it an inu one?

Mewmew! I hope to see more of you in the next one!

Out of curiosity, which NPC was your favorite to run this time? :D

Nytera was interesting because she was way different in practice than I had envisioned her. She was much more pompous and spoiled before but then she became more 'in over her head.' Nixie was amusing, but ultimately I got tired of being so catty. Vera is still tsundere as heck and Deriss was a fun, spur of the moment addition.

I know my back up character was a little silly, but thanks for engaging with it.

I also enjoyed Filos duel to the death. Thanks for making it a good death.

Hope to see you play in future games!
