Yes, I am ripping off ME3. Sue me. *not literally, EA is involved there*

*salutes the brave Duros*

Lyseil will miss her favorite modder.

At least Hacha seemed to have had fun modding her gun. :D

Hacha...

salutes

For those of us who didn't get a chance to hang out with Hacha, could you share a few words about him?

He died as he lived. In a spaceship that should have been OP'd, hurtling to the ground.

I wish we could of gotten together again for kaff and whiskey, sorry it wasn't so.

I enjoyed that we kept running missions together - such Mechanics, much success! One of my favourite moments was Hacha plugging the datapad into his brain to access the info, you did a really nice job with that :)

What was Hacha's backstory, outside of modding and building huge guns?

Well, Hacha has survived after all!

I honestly wasn't expecting that.

Hacha was originally an engineer for one of the nationalized Duros shipyards. However, because he was always so obsessive about making the ship as OP as possible and ran hundreds of thousands of credits over budget, so he diverted funds from other people's projects to pay for it. He got canned, so he began wandering around, looking for another project. The Turtle was the first one he came across.

It was a privilege to be on missions with you too! One handed mechanic bros!!!

Ahahahahaha, that background is amazing. No wonder why Hacha was so excited to work on a challenge like the Nova Blaster. :D

And he lives too, so now he too can come to Alderaan! \o/

Hero Duros!

I am very entertained by that backstory. It makes sense of Hacha's very large yet one-track mind.

What will he do next, after the Republic hangs a medal on him?

I'm glad you enjoyed him. He was a great deal of fun to play.

I honestly think, short term, he's going to be sticking around on the Turtle for a while as full time crew.

If the Republic actually hangs a medal on that, I think he's going to try to sell the idea of that railgun he made for the Turtle, and keep it a proprietary technology.

To be honest on that, I had zero plans when I first made Hacha. But as I am putting a basic mod on his gun, I rolled a Triumph. Mostly on a whim I asked "Can Hacha have an idea of how to make a ship scale weapon of that"

Dapper agreed. After that... well, I had to see it through.

You survived! One handed mechanic bro high five... Wait, high stump?

That's awesome, I love it! Hacha could always join the Republic military and pick up the Shipwright spec from Fully Operational. They must have an R&D Department...

Shipwright is worth a look, but Rigger starts stacking even more bonuses on top of Signature Ship.
