SIS had given them the coordinates. His team was assembled. It was time to move.

Niall nodded to each of his assembled squadmates. "Good luck, everyone. May the Force be with you."

He frowned at the structure before them. "Can anyone tell anything? See what we're up against? SIS didn't have much of a report."

[Layne Hoshin]

Layne had come along, not entirely certain what was going on... despite having been briefed by Colonel Dantooine. Basically they just had to go into this place, expect some fighting, and... do stuff. Right? Well, that'd be easy enough. She pulled out a datapad, which had been linked to a small remote droid-thing she'd acquired. That one she'd sent out on a bit of advanced scanning a while ago, and had simply been mapping out the perimeter. Now, she was assuming direct control... directing it to come in closer to the facility and see if she could spot anything.

Sabine stood with arms ready, suited up in her armor.

"Not my area of expertise Captain, sadly."

[Rav Devaroo]

Decked out in his combat utility suit and armed with his trusty pulse rifle, amongst other things, Rav Devaroo looked around at his companions and then off towards the building. "So Cap, SIS gave you the mission but no Intel? Classy." His eyes scanned the area around the building as he reflected on his years of combat experience.

Niall shrugged. "You know how it is. I requested a report, but didn't get anything. Perhaps it's too hard to get eyes on it."

His lips quirked. "Perhaps we can snap a quick picture on our way out. Turn that in to intelligence. Save them a trip for next time."

[Rav Devaroo]

"Right, but you'd better sign it for them right? Courtesy of Captain Alderaan." He bared his teeth in what might have been a smirk. "Something makes me think we might not have time for holiday snaps."

It was an interesting little team that the Cap had pulled together. A mechanic. A crack shot. A...whatever the Layne person was...some sort of Jedi perhaps, or kitchen assistant.

"So now we're here, you gonna tell us what the mission brief actually said? Might come in handy, although if it's up to the same standard as the rest of their Intel we might as well just get moving and fill in the blanks for 'em when we get back."

[Niall Organa]

And, of course, a droid, who Niall nodded to just then.

"That's a communications facility the Mandalorian's are using. The mission is to go in, secure it, and T7 here can get some important intelligence. Speed is a substitute for stealth here. I'm hoping you and Layne will be able to make any holes we need to get in and out." He gave them each a nod.

[Layne Hoshin]

"I don't have any explosives," she said while watching her datapad; looking at the cam-droid's view. "But a lightsaber cuts through most things if you give it a little time."

[Rav Devaroo]

The wiry wolf nodded. "Universal door opener huh? Yeah, that's quieter than my approach. Likely slower though. Good to have a few options though."

He looked over at the datapad to see what information was coming back from the remote. "You picking anything up? I'd expect guards, or cameras at least."

The brown structure stands in what looks to be an industrial district, it does a great job of not standing out and seems worn but sturdy. T7 alerted the team that what they want is most likely on the seventh floor in a control center. Security will be tight, but T7 has a possible plan, it has access to the records for a cleaning crew and can get the team in as members of that crew but it will require leaving much of their gear behind and basically being unarmored as they pose as the cleaning crew.

Or they can try another plan.

OOC: Warfare or Skullduggery at Average to case the building, if they Cleaning Crew option is taken gain a boost die on Deception checks which are Easy as long as they wear the uniform and have the fake badges.

Sabine drug up some old tips she heard while growing up with unsavory elements, and she might have recognized something useful...

There is a service entrance they can use and usually it is poorly guarded as it tends to be fairly busy with people coming in and out.

"Hmmm..." Niall pursed his lips. "Good job, both of you."

He looked at the droid. "T7, do you think we could smuggle the heavier guns in? Hide them in vacuums or something?"

[Dapper Dog]

T7 replied, "Light weapons = Preferred."

[Niall Organa]

Niall grimaced. "I brought the sergeant along for her skill with firearms. Can't have her disarmed."

He chewed on his lower lip a moment. "Perhaps... why don't we put it in a box, the sort people deliver packages in. Carry it with us. If anyone asks, we tell them the front desk just asked us to carry it along, since we're going up anyway?"

[Dapper Dog]

T7 replied, "Possible//Clean Team = Equipment Onsite. Box//or//Other//Items = Suspicious."

[Sabine Kelborn]

"I suggest the service entrance sir. Getting rid of our weapons seems foolhardy in a mission, and I feel subterfuge may not be the strong suit of this group."

[Layne Hoshin]

Layne nodded. "I don't do subtle very well. Disarming and swapping out armor for some janitor's suit seems suicidal to me."

[Rav Devaroo]

Rav looked at the building again and thought back to past missions. It rather reminded him of one in particular. Maybe there was something useful in the old dog.

Niall grimaced. It seemed they had consensus.

"Okay. Rav, see if you can create some sort of distraction to draw attention. Something explosive, but non-lethal. Then, we'll take the service entrance, and go quickly. Stun when you have the option. I think that's our best bet."

Rav looked at the building again and thought back to past missions. It rather reminded him of one in particular. Maybe there was something useful in the old dog.

Rav can see that the service entrance is usually a good choice but he sees two armed security guards pacing back and forth. It may be better to come up through the sewer system if they don’t mind getting dirty…

[Rav Devaroo]

"Whoa, hold on there Cap. Couple of security types at the service entrance, but the thing every building has to have is sewer access. Why don't we get in that way? Saves ditching all our gear, although I'd advise reconsiderin' any hot dates y'all might have arranged for later..."

[Layne Hoshin]

"Ugh... could just take 'em out and spare us the smell. There'd better be good laundry options on base."

[Niall Organa]

Niall chuckled at that. "Well spotted, Rav. I suppose I'll just have to call base and cancel."

He glanced at Layne. "If you give me your date's name, I'll cancel for you as well." He teased. Glancing around, he gave his team a nod. "Right, then. If there's nothing else, let's get moving. Sewers it is."
