"You're not as easy to anticipate as most beings, Mr. Draagh." She shrugs, still trying to keep it light. Possibly successfully.

[Dapper Dog]

“Is that a bad thing, master Jedi?” he replied warmly. “People are complicated, are they not?”

“Or do you believe people are fairly simplistic?”

[Tethys Carrack]

"Sentient beings are the most complex form of life by far." Her lips quirk in the shadow of her hood. "I don't think most beings are simple at all. I mean what I said, and no more--some are more opaque to me than others, for all sorts of reasons." And sometimes those reasons include a deep, heavy dark shadow...

[Dapper Dog]

Draagh nodded and said, “Some things demand obfuscation.”

[Tethys Carrack]

"I generally prefer not to be one of them." Tethys shrugs. "Life is... simpler, that way."

[Dapper Dog]

“I believe this is where we part ways, master Jedi. Thank you for the pleasant conversation. Perhaps we can do so again?” Draagh said respectfully.

[Tethys Carrack]

"Pleasant conversation is at a premium in a war zone. I imagine it's the same for you." She quirks an eyebrow at her temporary companion. "Stay out of trouble until then."

She doesn't say May the Force be with you; it seems at once a little too pointed and too ambiguous.

“I will try, master Jedi,” he said. “Danger tends to follow me.”

"I have a strong suspicion you invite it, Mr. Draagh." Tethys takes one hand out of the roomy pocket of her robes to wave him on his way.
