"I see." Deriss gave a sheepish smile and kicked a bit of sand with her boot. "Right. Well, Clan Kelborn's formations should not be difficult for you to pick up then."

Sabine shrugged. "Hopefully. I want to integrate best as I can. It's the least I can do." She patted the gun, waiting for it to cool a bit. "I... want to be a Mandalorian, I guess. Not just call myself one, because that's what I heard all my life, but understand what it means."

"I was just wondering if that would make us, well, related." She clicked her tongue and went to Basic. "Like sisters. Immediate family."

Sabine stood there silent. "Are you sure I'm the right person for you to ask this? I... have no idea how adoption works." She gestured towards a snickering devanorian. "Is he your brother?"

"He is another member of Clan Kelborn." The zabrak let out an exasperated sigh. "This is a time for you to celebrate! Go, carouse!"

Sabine now felt confused, while the Devanorian was now outright laughing. "Am I going to get hazed? If yes, beware, I will shiv you if you tickle me."

She took another chug of drink, then glanced back at her new chieftain, but didn't want to bother her. "So... anyone watch Huttball here?"

"Nothing like that. You make us sound like a Alderaanian university group," she groaned. She took the opportunity to meander away and leave Sabine to her own devices.
