WookieeGameElder: Okay
WookieeGameElder: You can remember that legends tell of Dark Ones, whose very presence can corrupt the ground that they walk upon.
WookieeGameElder: These Dark Ones are known to have supernatural powers beyond that, but exactly what is uncertain.

Rhavv: daaaaaaaaaamn

Rhavv: ''Rhaav, who has been silent until now, stands up dramatically''

Rhavv: ''This as happened before! Listen to the tales of the Dark Ones!''

Rhavv: so my character begins to beat on his drums and goes on to singing the tale

Rhavv is rolling

Rhavv rolled 21

Onnowrrhesshooack: Onno finally stands his body is heavily muscled even for a wookie his fur is criss-crossed with areas of scar tissue he picked up defending the clan. His deep voice rumbles out "It is time brothers and sisters to lay down our lives against these vile corrupters and see them driven from our lands." his speech was simple yet rousing full of conviction and carried with the respect he had earned in combat both ceremonial and wartime

Onnowrrhesshooack is rolling
Onnowrrhesshooack rolled a 18

Deerahka: Deerahka frowned at this talk of Dark Ones, what did they know of the darkness. Deerahka had been born into, molded by it, the darkness was her enemy and only friend. She had seen the dark things that lived in the void and returned richer for it. If night had a name, it was Deerahka. She tapped into her arcane lore of the Dark Ones.

Deerahka is rolling.
Deerahka rolled a 1.

Deerahka: Despite her deep connection to the Void, she knows nothing of it, apparently.

Ashla was bored. So, curled up to her computer with Kidaja the Goat by her side.

PokingRancorsWithAStick: I heard there was some sort of game. Can I play?

WookieeGameElder: Sure, PRWaS, go ahead. If you don't already have a character made, you can select one of the premade ones.
WookieeGameElder: The council is convinced that it is the Dark Ones, and the people want to help you. But a large group would be unwieldy, and manpower is needed to keep the village safe.
WookieeGameElder: They will provide you with extra supplies for the journey, however, and suggest that you stop by the shaman's hut before you leave.

Graawwar: Ah, good idea. The shaman may have more knowledge about these Dark Ones that can help us.

Tethys nibbles her lip for a moment.

Graawwar: Also, the shaman is a family friend. I will ask them to look in on my spouse while we're away.

She's kind of getting in to this!

Graawwar: I will miss her. And the baby.
Graawwar: Our little Rawrbacca.

Onnowrrhesshooack: Onno nods and exits the meeting, he is a wookie of action and has little time for discussing details. He heads to the shaman immediately as he has no one he needs to say goodbye to his family lost long ago.

Ashla sends in her sheet.

It's magnificent in its terribleness. It seemed to be designed to amuse the player more than making a competent character. Though it was kept sort of functional.

It was a wizard. Not someone with Force abilities. It was a wizard. [Melee: Party Tricks] was tricked up to a high degree and various other charlatan skills. He may not be competent, but he sure can convince people he is. He called Co'law.

Co'law: Character sheet sent.

Wruff: Wruff uses [Melee: Party Tricks] to further impress the ladies.
Wruff rolls a 12
Wruff: He looks totally cool, juggling knives for a few moments before he speaks.
Wruff: "I should go."
Wruff: Wruff then leaves the meeting and follows Onno.

Rhavv: he will join the others for adventure!

Vheewanna: May I suggest inventory items that would be most optimal for the rest of the party?

Vheewanna is rolling
Vheewanna rolled a 2

Vheewanna: . . . . . . you should all select the biggest stick from the firewood pile you can lift.

WookieeGameElder: Co'law, you're approved, go ahead and join the others
WookieeGameElder: Everyone can select a piece of gear costing 20 aughs or less
WookieeGameElder: The shaman's hut is just outside the edge of town. I'll wait until everyone's selected their gear and finished their business before going ahead with that

Vheewanna: Vheewanna will take a bowcaster, ammo bandolier and as much ammo as his encumbrance capacity will allow.

Graawwar: A Ryyk Blade would suit Graawwar well.
Graawwar: I go to the shaman's home too.
Graawwar: I don't need to generate any random numbers to travel there, do I?

Deerahka: Deerahka did not come back to her clan to be given handouts, she looks at the elders and spits on their charity. She has her blade she wrested in battle, she has the leathers she skinned herself in the wilds. She is only here to show them that her exile has only made her stronger. She waits outside for the other to suck at the teat of the elders, she needed nothing.

WookieeGameElder: Okay, all those times are fine. Go ahead and add them to your sheets.
WookieeGameElder: Wruff, I think you're pretty well maxed out, but I don't expect it to come up much. I'm not going to be using the mating chapters
WookieeGameElder: Or the mating subsections in the other chapters

It was perhaps time to move on.

WookieeGameElder: You all gather at the north side of the village and head out. No rolls are required unless you're trying to track something, or be stealthy
WookieeGameElder: The shaman's hut is perhaps forty-five minutes out
WookieeGameElder: As you walk along, you see that the corruption is already getting worse. The bark of the trees is beginning to take on a grey, rotting appearance in spots. After about twenty minutes, you realize that you haven't heard the sounds of any animals in quite some time
WookieeGameElder: I need to know your marching order

Wruff: Fine!
Wruff: What's a marching order?
Wruff: Oh no wait, I get it. Okay. Wruff is wherever he can hit stuff with his stick if they get attacked. It's a big stick.

Graawwar: As a tracker Graawwar can find the way if he travels in front.
Graawwar: But that isn't necessary yet. So he may be in the middle if others prefer.
Graawwar: Also, we could be ambushed from the sides!
Graawwar: We are in a forest. We should think tactically in three dimensions.
Graawwar: :)

This adventure is getting exciting! Of course, a Jedi craves not these things. But hey, it's just pretend.

Deerahka: Deerahka was the shadows, she was aloof yet near the team ready to strike like nesting viper. Her lithe but powerful frame could move swiftly and gracefully through the forest and leave not a trace when she needed.

Deerahka is rolling.
Deerahka rolls a 36.

Deerahka: She is the shadow of death.
