Cole was up, shaved, dressed, and reporting to the Medical Facilities by 6 a.m. Galactic Standard Time. He'd run the coffee machine, and was just draining the last of the mug's contents as the nearest chronometer beeped to mark the hour.

OOC: To allow for rapid service, please let me know your current damage taken, wound threshold, and lowest crit name or roll result (as applicable).

With a yawn, Galen entered. "Good morning, Doctor. You said you wanted to follow up on the wounds you treated yesterday, right?"

"You are amazing, Doc. I don't feel any pain anymore." he smiled. "I owe you some drinks, and more clinic work."

Running a hand through his hair, "I have a feeling you'll be back here before the day's out."

((6/13 wounds, 1 medium crit))

Arali returned to the good doctor after the previous day's shenanigans, her leg not quite a hundred percent.

"Talk later," Cole murmured to Galen, and moved on to his next patient. "Good morning, Jedi Zian."

The droids kept Odd in his bed for the rest of the night. He had dozed off briefly under anesthesia but now that the painkillers were wearing off he woke up with a growl again. Looking at the stump begrudgingly, then on the bacta on his stomach, he started to figure out his peeing strategy. The prosthetics could not arrive soon enough.

Oddyn's diagnostic bed beeped, drawing Cole's attention.

The wounded Mando looked up at the curly-haired doc coming. "Somehow, human docs are more relatable." He tried a joke. His body had drained a blood pack so colour was returning to his face and dark humour to his mind.

"Careful," Cole deadpanned in return, "they'll put synthskin on the droids and I'll be out of a job."

"Won't do. I'll keep poking at them to check for the metal, then call for the real thing." The Mandalorian chuckled, releasing some droplets of blood onto his beard.

Plucking a syringe from his extensive kit, Cole pulled up a sleeve and offered the needle to Oddyn, "if you want to be sure."

"Can tell without it." Oddyn waved his only hand, rubbing his face with it after that, almost disconnecting the catheter. "But be my guest with that needle if it's gonna help me get out of here faster."

Putting the needle away, Cole ran a hand through his hair and pulled on a pair of gloves. He set to work, patching damage here and there. He drained some fluid build up, relieving pressure on Oddyn's lungs, helping his breath more easily.

The Mando stayed calm through the procedure. Judging by the amount of scars on him it was pretty routine for him, the discomfort and pain involved. He even whistled a Mandalorian song. A learned person would recognise Gra'tua Cuun.

When Cole was done, "by Republic standards, you aren't quite fighting fit, but I don't think that's going to keep you down." He rubbed his fresh-shaven jaw with the back of a hand, studying the Mandalorian.

When Cole was done, Odd felt much better. He grinned. "You haven't helped in keeping me in bed with this. I might nap when heat strikes, but by evening I want to be back on my feet, in my armour, with my gun. Need to pay back for the aid and the prosthetic and all." He sighed. "Thanks, Doc. Good to know there are medical professionals out there after things have gone south."

"I don't think anyone here could stop you if you set your mind to leaving. But your system isn't going to take a whole lot of strain, so if you're badly hurt, you'll be laid up overnight again."

"Isn't it like coming back for regular checkups?" The Mad Dog was slightly silly because nothing about his situation was normal. From both moral and physiological reasons he should be dead. Continued life was like a birthday gift he didn't want but since he was stuck with it he started to figure out its further use.

"I'd recommend trying not to get killed," Cole had no idea about what had transpired over night, the duty reports were suspiciously silent about the cause of Oddyn's injuries.

"Trying to kill before getting killed is usually a better idea, true." He chuckled, then flopped on the bed. "Name's Oddyn Vizsla, Doc."

Cole inspected the previous night's amputation, checking for signs of inflammation, bleeding, or necrosis. "You've got some loyal friends, Specialist Vizsla. What happened to you last night?"

"I challenged Varo Kryze to a duel and lost." He quipped on a more morose tone. "And I have no bloody idea how things went after he had shattered my arm instead of killing me for good."

A frown furrowed Cole's brow, "I thought those duels were only supposed to have one survivor." He did, however, take out his datapad and add some high-clearance notes to Oddyn's file.
