"What are you plans after this? Are you going to stay a bit longer to help out the Resistance or the people of Bankor?"

“That depends on Command. If I’m needed here, or I can volunteer, then I might stay on for a time. If not, then I have some thoughts about where I might be useful.”

"I guess an officer with the Republic forces has less personal freedom that a Jedi does."

"That's why they make you sign on for four years, makes it harder to run out when you realise it wasn't your thing after all."

Hamelin smirks at the comment. <Crut>
"Well at least it is only 4 years. Becoming a Jedi is a dedication for life. You cannot really get cold feet after that kind of commitment."

"I didn't know the Jedi were in the habit of sending people into warzones and arresting them if they didn't want to go."

"I wouldn't put it quite that way. Though Jedi will naturally be drawn to conflict as their roles of peacekeepers and mentors."
