He started running through some mental calculations, one hand coming up to rest under his muzzle. "Hmm, that's a lot of extra weight to carry but..." A datapad came out and the wolf was lost in load-bearing equations.

"Well, naturally cigars." Niall said dryly. "Those are the most cinematic."

Gently, he took the clothing ensemble down from where it hung, bringing it up to Jo. "No curry, thank you." He said. "Not while I'm carrying this."

The rattling of keystrokes on the datapad ended with a sharp intake of breath and a low whistle. Rav scratched his chin and looked around for the proprietor who was rather conveniently easy to spot.

"Hey, you're Jo, right? What's your price for this beaut? I mean, I'm on a Republic stipend so I ain't made of money but maybe there's an arrangement we could make?"

"A shame about the curry, but I guess that special bonus will just have to be passed to someone who's been helpful," the Chiss said through the collar of her coat and looked over to the merchant expectantly. If it wasn't for so many people here, she would have thrown in a very obvious wink too.

Ashla shows up and waits until she can talk to Jo.

Jo smiled and answered all of the questions with an enigmatic, “Yes.” Plus a bowl of steaming lamb curry and his mix chip for all purchases.

He gestured for Ashla to come closer.

"Hey, Jo. I love the sword, but it's cursed. Now, I have a creepy old man watching me everywhere. I mean, imagine a poor innocent young girl like myself having to shower in front a creepy old man." Ashla sighs. "But you can make it up to me, Jo. Help me find one of these for cheap." Ashla hands him a picture of a medical droid.

“The curse is part of the charm! I should have charged you double for such a thing, but you are so pretty I didn’t. See how I spoil you? And a medical droid… hrrm, yes, I have one, for you… 2000 credits,” he said with a grin.

He turns to Jo. "This fine clothing for me. And a goat curry for the lady." He was, after all, a gentleman.

“Of course my handsome sir, and for the lady… my patented goat curry,” he said smiling offering the bowl of curry.

Ashla wants to argue about the curse, but she knows these people. She probably was lucky he's not trying to charge her more for the curse.

"Fine then. At least, you can save the droid for me. I'll have the money next time. As long as it is this one." Ashla didn't need a medical droid. She just thought this one was so adorable. And it can play with Kidaja. "For now, I need pretty goat cloths for Kidaja the Goat"

"Perhaps a mix chip too," she said looking to Jo. "For the assist, of course!"

"Alright, you got yourself a deal you crazy crazy alien!" The Shistavanen bared a few teeth in a smile as he turned over some Republic tokens and then hefted the heavy rifle.

"Aww yeah. I might be in love. Still missing that cigar though."

"No problem." Niall said. "I'll get you one when we get back to base." His lips quirked. "If you can really pull it off, maybe someone else can take a turn on the recruitment posters."

"Oh yeah, I'd better grab a few stimpacks while I'm here." He moved over to a table full of medical equipment and picked out two packs that didn't look too old or scuffed.
