Garth had ordered a thermo cloak earlier in the day from a sewer shop and had come back to collect it when he found a new shop.

Picking up the necklace, he felt something from it and looked the shopkeep in the eye.

"You barter, yeah?"

Spending duty to purchase ((assuming survival in earlier threads))

“I have been known to barter, as long as everything is on the level!” Jo responded. “Now don’t tell anyone, but every purchase get’s a free copy of my mix-chip. Jo and the Goats, soothing melodies of the Cantina by yours truly!”

Garth gets a free copy of the mix-chip.

"Sweet." Garth remarks as he accepts the chip. "New tunes for the Spitfire."

Ugh, what was that smell? Most likely all that expected funk from being around a sewer. Supposedly, the smell was better when the temperature dropped but it still smelled and pretty badly at that. Dressed in a set of worn clothes, Teffa headed down the sewers to see this supposed infamous pawn shop. She walked into the 'shop' with her jacket raised to her lips in a lame attempt to hide her face. "I'm here...for the stuff."

“Jo has all the stuff, so please… take a look and buy buy buy!” the devaronian gestured to his many wares.

"All, the stuff?" Teffa emphasised once more. Now that she was here, she didn't even know what was this stuff she was getting at. It was only a ploy to sound more 'in' and perhaps get Jo to reveal something she didn't know about. However, he did have some varied oddities and goods on the table, that was probably good enough for stumbling into a clandestine business.

"Pretty impressive stuff, expensive too! Do people typically just walk up to you with a stack of credits in their pocket?"

“Jo is a lucky man, and you can share in that luck by buying my lucky goods,” he replied with a grin.

Teffa narrowed one eye at the illicit merchant. "Lucky? Lucky how? I'm not too convinced. I mean, this stuff looks cool but I have some cool stuff in my cargo hold too. Had, anyway."

“Sounds unlucky friend, but with empty cargo space means you should buy more stuff to fill that hole in your heart,” he said grinning.

"Heeey, I don't have a hole in my heart!" Teffa dropped her coat-mask and put a hand on her chest defensively, frowning at the merchant. "That can be a pretty serious medical condition and I don't think that buying stuff is going to exactly fill that up. Actually, it's bound to give you a serious artery clog. It could be that, you just suffered a pretty fatal blaster wound. My heart is pretty hole-less, thank you very much."

“Well then, all the more reason to celebrate. I tell you what, just for you, you buy anything and I throw in a fresh mix chip and some curried goat,” he said with a grin.

"A mix chip and some curried goat, strange time to be offering food to spice up a deal," she murmured before suppressing back a yawn from escaping her. "Maybe a fancy new mattress would be nice..."

She leaned in at the table to peer them in an exaggerated manner. "Weapons and things. The cape seems nice! But not my thing. I don't know if I have much use for this stuff, really. And I was wondering what sort of things were in this mix chip too."

Somewhat to the surprise of... well, him, Niall was there as well. He frowned as he looked around. Everything seemed such a curious mismatch. A lot of it had goat hair on it. Even the two customers already there, Garth and a suspicious-looking Chiss woman seemed to be a strange collection.

But then he saw the cape.

"Goodness." Niall murmured, studying it carefully. It did look very nice. And capes were very much in on Alderaan at the moment...

Jo was doing good business the traffic of people was constant, even a Mandalorian or two incognito was there looking at weapons or cook books, or whatever Jo could sell for the night.

It was a strange neutral ground of illicit commerce.

Galen had heard about Jo. Everyone has heard about Jo. The hunter looked over the items of the shop. The rifle was nice, but a little too big for his tastes. He didn't have a use for the hammer.

"That cape suits you, captain."

What Galen was really looking form, were some additional pouches for his backpack.

Niall glanced over, smiling as he recognized Galen.

"You think so?" He reached out, gently touching the material. Very nice. "Perhaps it does."

He glanced back at the hunter. "Do you see something that suits you?"

Mmm, the smell of the sewers - heaven to a wolf. He was bit sceptical of what he might find down here, but it seemed he wasn't the only one around. Many of his new people were here already and he offered a what passed for friendly greetings to Garth and Niall.

Galen received a toothy grin. "Hey kid, heard you had a rumble with a Sand Demon? Killer robots ain't enough huh?"

"Nothing yet." he shook his head. "But, Jo has pretty much anything, anyone would want."

He gave Rav a grin. "At least the demon didn't have any bombs."

Teffa lifted the collar of her coat to partially hide her face when the others arrived. "Hullo, good sirs. I was lost and only looking for directions to make my way out."

She nodded when Niall showed interest in the cloak. "You should totally get that, suits you very well! It also comes with free curried goat," looking over to the merchant actual, she gave him a wink.

Niall shot the woman a quick glance. "You think so? I admit, it has caught my eye. And that's before I heard about the curried goat." He said, his tone dry.

Turning, he gave her a longer glance. "Lost, you said?" His lips had a bit of a knowing smirk. Just a bit.

"You should totally get that cape Cap."

"Rav." Niall acknowledged with a nod and a smile.

"Well, it sounds as though it's unanimous." Niall turned to Jo, nodding decisively. "I'll take it."

"Good to see ya outside of a battlefield." He gave the Captain a toothy grin and was then immediately distracted by the biggest, coolest, BFG he'd ever seen.

Slowly he walked towards the tricked out heavy blaster. Reaching out a paw he stopped before touching Big Salli.

"Holy bitchin' mother of... Would ya look at that! Shit, makes me wish I'd gone and been a gunnery Sergeant."
