"Perhaps." Galen nodded. "I don't know. That's never felt appropriate to me. And, it is possible that there are more out there. His would not be the only species to find its way onto other planets."

"It might be prudent to make a genetic record. Few species survive forever, that's why we have the Galactic Genetic Library in the first place, so that no species will ever truly be lost to time."

"True. What do you think, Navi?" he gave the puckmaren a friendly poke. Navi seemed to laugh.

'' I heard that the jedi archives have extensive genetic records of many species. You could probably check if the order have information about these creatures.''

"I'd be happy to build a genetic profile of Navi, every genetic variant is useful to the archives. It won't even hurt." As he spoke, Cole's eyes were on the unusual zabrack, not the curious bat-like tetrapod.

"Honestly, I hadn't considered it. It was just me and Navi for a long time." he mused. "Then, on the Starcross, we were pretty busy. Now though, I think it is something I'll look into."
