He'd been looking for someone to do a bit of work on one of his guns, and he'd eventually found it in a bit of an unusual place. He'd sent a message to Azura a bit ago, asking her to meet him in the hangar to get some work done. She'd agreed, after a bit of chatting so he'd made his way over.

Setting the bottle he'd brought as a present on the work bench,along with his gun, he leaned against a nearby wall, hopefully she would be here before long.

Azura, perhaps luckily for Zane, wasn't the late type. After a meeting place was agreed she'd got her toolkit and made her way over. She was still in her armour, and armed as always, but the addition was a red cloak.

"Fancy seein' you here Z" Azura said with a smirk, moving to lean against the bench "so you need some work done? I knew that hat was mechanical really. Where does the gun come out of? Or does it lift up to shoot."

"Fancy seeing you as well." He offered the young woman a easy smile. "That's certainly the dapper new cloak you are wearing." He said as he looked her over. "Going for a change of style?" Sure it could be the heat or the cold, but Z at least would never wear one, unless he was going for something.

He chuckled lightly, reaching up to pluck the hat from his head, and turn it back and forth for inspection. "Sadly, this hat of mine hold no secrets. " He placed his hat back on his head ,and gestured toward the table. "What I asked you to work on is on that table, along with a bottle of that whiskey you liked."

"This cloak?" Azura turned around to let him see the full length of it "it's a bit ugly isn't it? But it's so good at dealing with the temperatures here, so I'm not gonna complain. It does a good job of helping blend in as well somehow" she shrugged "but I don't question it.

She then turned to the bench.

"Hm...what do you need done to it? I've done a little modding, so I can do some of that. Just need to know what. you covering costs too?"

"Maybe people just don't want to look at it?" He offered teasingly, she was right after all it was rather ugly. "As long as it has it's uses though, that seems to be the most important thing." Other people at least kept telling him so.

"Yeah, I'm covering costs." That was easy enough after all. "Well, I was hoping to get a bit more power out of the the actuating module. my other gun has a similar modification, and it's proved useful."

Azura laughed. "Hey, if ugly cloaks keep me alive then I'll suffer through ugly cloaks! Not all of us can wear protective hats that also look stylish" she took off her toolkit, taking a few items out.

"Now then, let's get to work..." she started working on the gun, making a few modifications with parts supplied. It doesn't take her too long, but she's clearly very focused throughout. Determined to do a good job.

"Right...I think that's done it" she says after a short while, starting to put the gun back together.

[Layne Hoshin]

A young Jedi appeared, carrying her own unimpressive toolkit, and took up a spot where she could work on one of her shoto. It proved a little more difficult than working on the darksaber she was so intimately familiar with, but the force helped guide her.

Veeone walked in, showing two large (and patched) blaster burns to it's armour. Ignoring the humans, for now, it made it's way over to the oil baths and initiated the long term droid care procedure.

There was something approaching a sigh as it was lowered into the warm, healing mineral oils . . .

Zan laughed as well, his hat certainly seemed to have fanciful tales about its usefulness. "Well, hats like mine are hard to come by." He offered with a smile as she started to get to work.

He was quiet as she did do. Eyes mostly on her, but not missing the others who entered the area. Layne and the droid would get polite nods as they walked by, but he wouldn't interupt their work.

Azura put the final pieces back together, then examined it before presenting it to Zanebry.

"Ok, that looks done. It'll give a nastier bite than before...might want to test it to make sure you're ready for the new power behind the shot."

She paused a moment to look around before motioning to the droid.

"Just shoot the droid. It's not anything important, just a backup droid. Basically expendable."

"Thanks again." He replied as he picked up his blaster, and started to examine it. "That bottle is yours." He nodded to the one on the table. "But I'll have to treat you to dinner or something sometime to really show my appreciation."

His eyes moved towards the droid, before he shook his head. "Nah, I think it's better if I just go to the range. Saw that one out fighting today and it did a good job. Cant just shoot it after it saved a few lifes."

"Thanks again." He replied as he picked up his blaster, and started to examine it. "That bottle is yours." He nodded to the one on the table. "But I'll have to treat you to dinner or something sometime to really show my appreciation."

His eyes moved towards the droid, before he shook his head. "Nah, I think it's better if I just go to the range. Saw that one out fighting today and it did a good job. Cant just shoot it after it saved a few lifes."

"The whole bottle? Aren't you a delight" Azura grinned "you can come back and ask again! No promises though, the more you add to those things the harder it is to tune it more, and while I'm clearly brilliant even I have limits!" sh chuckled, then shrugged.

"Eh, that's fine too I guess. If you shot the droid I'd likely be able to fix it up anyway. So, you're worried about future fights and need a lil' more firepower then?"

He smirked." I'd hate for you to call me stingy Azura, so enjoy it." Hopefully she wouldn't polish it all off in one sitting. "So I've heard, I might hit you up in a day or two though." It really all depended on funds.

"Yup, and I wouldn't want to give you any more work. You seem to have your hands full already." At her question he nodded. "A man can always use a bit more firepower, or that's my experience. Best to be prepared for any fights that come up, even if you aren't expecting any."

[Azura Mora]

"Let me know when and I'll see what else you can bribe me with" Azura grinned. She wasn't completely serious, but she did like gifts "I'll very much take my time with this drink. I can raid Jax's stash if I need to for a quick drink."

She picked up the bottle, looking it over.

"Really good stuff. You must be pretty loaded."

"Sadly, it can't be whiskey again." Never give a girl the same gift twice. At least not on the short term. "So,I'll have to think of something new. Maybe something to go with that brand new cloak of yours?"

"I'm glad you liked it though. It's one of my go to's." Rather reasonably priced too, "As for money..." He shrugged, "It comes and it goes."

"I'm not sure anything that matches this cloak should ever exist" Azura chuckled "but hey, if the war dies down I'm ok with checking out the wares in the city. Bit too dangerous right now."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"You're telling me the threat of a few blaster bolts worry you?" He asked, raising an eyebrow. He hadn't really expected that from her. "Or are you just worried about though blasters shooting holes in any clothes you bought?"

"The threat? No. However, going shopping in a war zone would be stupidity" Azura rolled her eyes "I would prefer to be blasting holes in them over shopping. I don't understand why you think a shopping trip for clothes is a good idea when you're one sniper rifle shot from death picking out a tie."

"Too much time spent on Nar Shadda probably." His lips spread into a amused smile. "I've picked up a few bad habits from it, I believe."

"Nar Shaddaa? You certainly get around" Azura commented thoughtfully "and pick the worst locations. Remind me to never get holiday advice from you! Why were you at Nar Shaddaa?"

"Oh, bankor isn't a vacation spot, but then again neither was Nar shadda. Though there is a nice little vacation spot in one of its nearby system. It has some of the best beaches."

He turned to her and smiled. "I was on Nar Shaddaa for eork. It's not one of the prettiest places, but there are a lot of credits to be made there."

Azura rolled her eyes.

"You really like to profit from wars, don't ya? What's Nar Shaddaa like?"

"Honestly? I'll very likely spend more then I make here, Azura." He offered with a shake of his head. "I earn money on places like Nar Shaddaa, so when I decided to do these charity cases, I don't have to worry about my expenses."

"Nar Shaddaa, is a shit hole... Likely one of the worst places in the galaxy. If you ever visit, don't linger."

Azura frowned.

"You're gonna come here and make a loss? Seriously? Why even come then? You could make a loss of credits, or limbs, or even life...for no reason."

She sighed, and shook her head.

"I don't get it."
