He kept on opening his mouth as if to say "you can see it too? And you too, R40XY?" but then closing it again when the answer is obvious. Finally, he speaks.

"Padawan Aran Enfas. It is an honor, Master Kess." Waiting for a turn to ask questions, he turns to R40XY.

"I am but a Padawan, and Galen has had only some formal training. We hoped you, perhaps guided by Baesal's greater knowledge of ancient legends, could help us find any records of similar occurrences so that we may understand Master Kess' circumstances."

When he gets a moment to talk to Kess again, he asks "Who were you seeking? What had they done?"

ooc: I can ask this in character, but:

"Six, one died, but after they became a knight," he said proudly.

Am I parsing this right that he trained six padawans, all of whom became knights, but one of whom died before Kess? For some reason the first time I read it as "I had six, one of them died but became a knight after. Like, a zombie knight."

“Some pirate queen… umm… hrrm… Thaya Kess, no relation and a real piece of work. This was all during the negotiations between the Imps and us. I was tracking a led and then well I guess I died,” he said to those gathered.

*Ahh. My understanding has expanded. Yes, this is something I can accomplish. Is there some terminal I might utilize with more records of the Jedi? Or would any search do?*

"I am honored to have your guidance." Galen said to Yulu. "But, I am concerned by what might have kept you here. It doesn't seem like you should be lingering. I'd like to help you."

"Well a Jedi is above mundane attachments, not sure what could be holding me down,” he said with a puzzled ghostly look.

OOC: What information is the droid looking to find, Jedi don’t share their stuff easily.

"It may not seem mundane to you." Galen suggested. "A mission or another objective. A colleague or pupil or someone else you cared for. Something you were not able to accomplish or achieve. Even information you may have wished to pass on."

OOC: General information regarding Yulu Kess. I imagine specific details would not be accessible, but a general profile to verify information and fill in a few blanks would be helpful.

“Well I suppose there are a few things. I did not have much to pass on about the pirate queen, but I did learn that Darth Baras got into a squabble with one of his apprentices, not sure how that went down, but I hope the Sith got what was coming to him.”

“As for people I don’t hthink so… well… there would be Myrande, she was a good friend for many yars but well a Jedi must be many things but he can’t be someone that will be there for someone in an emotional way, that path leads to deep attachment and darkness,” he said sadly.

“Guess being dead, I could tell her what she meant to me, maybe that’s it?”

Its not ze's specialty, but ze manages to uncover something related. Whether it will be useful is of doubt.

The droid is able to find a story of Yulu Kess, a much younger Yulu at that and his adventure on Dantooine and wooing a princess, and fighting off noble guards that wanted to assassinate the young beautiful woman before her wedding night, it’s all very dashing and romantic.

The droid is slightly confused but relays it as best as possible. *It appears to be some manner of story of the being here on Dantooine and the involvement of a princess. There were some other beings who wished to assassinate her before her wedding night. It is unclear as to why.*

Baesal digs in her memory to see if she can corroborate R4OXY's story about the Knight

"Would you object, if I discussed your state with more Jedi?" he asked Yulu.

“Not at all, plus it will give me a chance to properly record my adventures for posterity,” he said proudly.

"Alright, then I will travel to Coruscant and see whoever will see me." he nodded. "Is there anywhere you would go? Someplace important to you?"

"I would love to see the Jedi Temple one last time," he said warmly.

"You will." he promised.

*Is this a common part of your culture? I have never heard of such a thing.*

"I think this is new to everyone." Galen shrugged.

*A rare occurrence. That is likely for the best. This...is somewhat odd.*

Aran cocks his head to one side. "I apologize if this is an upsetting suggestion, but is it possible that this pirate queen sabotaged your ship to avoid pursuit? Or that your death was in some way intentional?"

"It could be possible, though it was a Hutt ship at the time, but maybe," he responded.

"It was crashed deliberately, but I believe others were responsible." Galen explained.

Aran frowned. "Targeting Master Kess? Or with some other goal? And were they brought to justice?"

The droid's head chassis spins from one, to another, plainly not understanding. Ze stayed silent, hoping at some point, this would all begin to make sense.
