Jax was right behind him still fuming about the scenario they just left and huffed as he started up his systems those little droids were handy at saving a whole bunch of switch flipping. Jax got off the ground wordlesly and sped off to the coordinates at full speed.

Vando sighed and went back to the communication panel and brought up an old friend, “Yanos, our little project will have to come to an end. On the plus side, I think we have been able to buy enough time to keep our forces in the game. Unfortunately the Republic is proving to be a bit overzealous.”

Yanos appeared and frowned, “I warned you they were on the way. The fight will change now, new tactics, more honorable ones if we want to keep their aid and weapons. In the meantime, we may need to do something about the politician. Her popularity is soaring.”

“She is a popular woman, are we looking to ruin her or put her out of the running completely,” Vando replied adjusting his jacket.

“I can handle this personally for my normal fee.”

“I don’t have time for popularity games, kill her. Bankor needs a strong government so this never happens again, not one that begs at the Republic table for scraps,” Yanos replied bitterly.

“Make it look like an accident.”

“Well then I am your man. Just remember me when you are President,” he said warmly.

“Don’t forget my fee.”
