Galen sat in an open area with his legs crossed and his eyes closed. He tried to clear his mind and focus on the Force, as Lyshea had taught him. But, it was proving difficult. It had always been difficult. He could feel the Force, but he couldn't find the connection Lyshea had described. The closest he had come had been on Nal Hutta, meditating among the Black Witches. There, he could feel a connection to the natural world, even as polluted as the planet was. On a ship, in hyperspace, far from anything truly natural, however, he just couldn't find it.

With an exasperated sigh, he opened his eyes and looked around.
