So, let's see... as far as our ancient Order goes, it looks like we've got the following members onsite:

That's one too many PCs for a group PM, so here's a check-in thread instead. Did I miss anyone? Anything in particular fellow Jedi should know about you and your plans/concerns?

Well, what some may know (at least the Jedi Knights) is that this is Ashla's trial to graduate and either gain her freedom (service done, no jail time) or become a Jedi Knight. Ashla has no idea about this. She just thinks her master is busy on something super important.

Tethys is quite a newly minted knight herself. I'm not sure there's much else that'd be notable about her (at least nothing that's been worked out conclusively). She's particularly interested in evaluating the relationship between the Republic forces and the locals, but I'm sure other stuff will come up as we go along.

Hmm... a quick blurb without going into too much.

Hamelin is a former criminal from the Outer Rim before he was recruited into the Jedi Order. Will have to come up with the name of his master later. He is also quirky in that he promotes death as a positive balance to the natural cycle of the universe.

I'm more of a Padawan actually. I just reached Mon Calamari adulthood, and master hasn't really given me jedihood yet. Still haven't done any mission without him, this is the first one and under the guidance of Master Fu´Dall. She probably thinks I'm ready to be Jedi.

Main points of interest that fellow Jedi could probably gossip about (for those who don't already know):

• former Sith apprentice/assasin under Darth Baras.
• related to some ancient Jedi master who betrayed the council and became one of the original founders of the Sith.
• is either a terrorist in the empire who killed thousands of innocents, or was framed for it. Probably the latter given the Jedi council probably wouldn't let a terrorist join the Jedi. Right?
• Supposedly has ancient Sith armor/a weird and unique lightsaber with a black blade.
• Probably not fit to be a Jedi with all of the above?

Following Layne's lead here are some points of interest that fellow Jedi might know:

-Former Sith as well

-Baesal rediscovered the planet of Tython while doing research

-She invented two new variants of lightsabers: ionsabers and lightsheilds

-She is seems to be on the hunt for *something* but that is not the reason of her presence on Bamkor

Not a Jedi, but currently Jedi associated, which many of you may know at this point.

I'm a Padawan with no defined master (I use the proper plural "Masters" a lot, so maybe he's a group effort...). He's historically been a Good Boy (ate his greens, avoided attachments, meditated a lot, etc.) but he got overenthusiastic on his last mission and is on semi-probation. He's operated on his own before (over-enthusiastically!) but I didn't think of him as close to knighthood.

If any of the proper Knights want to have had a word put in their ear by someone in the Order to keep an eye on him, that would be a fun dynamic. If anyone's in the market for an apprentice, that could be fun, too!

Cool cool cool. Hamelin, have I got it right that you're a knight rather than a padawan, then?

Hmm. Tethys's goals here are pretty much "let's see what happens" and "save up XP for more useful Force powers," so maybe not as concrete as some of you. She's a very green Knight but is generally considered to be levelheaded and has some diplomatic/political experience (though not a particularly smooth talker), so it's plausible that she might be asked to check in on other(s) even more junior than herself. Perhaps our other two Knights can also chime in about whether they see themselves being in a similar position.

Things Jedi might know:

- Her dad was a famous serial killer until he was executed. Unknown to any but the Jedi, he hunted force sensitives. As he had no talent, the Jedi aren't sure why or even how, so few know.
- She was arrested for having an illegal medical practice. When it was realized that she was unknowingly using the Force, Jedi Master Maaka Zyl convinced the Council to let her take Ashla as an apprentice. Though there was some controversy.
- She had something to do with the expulsion and attempted arrest of Jedi Knight Sashto Sin. The Jedi have been very hush-hush about his *crimes.
- Since her mission on Nar Shadaa, she seems more at peace and making a genuine effort to be a Jedi.
- She spends time with the younglings, particularly a young Rodian named Jeebu.
- She also spends time helping the poor of Coruscant and other places she visits with her medical and Force abilities.

FYI to fellow fightsy Jedi: The Hangar location at the base grants a boost die to all Mechanics rolls made there. Tethys also has a lightsaber maintenance multitool from Keeping the Peace which grants a free advantage on lightsaber mods and repairs, and would certainly be willing to lend it with a bit of RP justification. So if you haven't modded your basic lightsaber crystal yet, you can do your first mod (difficulty 1 if it's your own saber) with +1eB and an extra Advantage.

That may make it worth considering even if you're Int 2 and don't have the skill, especially if you flip a destiny. -1 crit rating (for an Illum crystal) is pretty nice! Send those limbs flying!

I might take you up on that! I need to check whether I left myself 100 credits to mod things, though.

Advantage doesn't actually help in this game. Unless you're reforging.

Isn't Threat bad when you're modding? no?

Not really, no.

But it is bad when you're reforging.

I guess if you were modding twice in quick succession, you could give yourself boost/heal strain, or the GM could give you setback, or strain.

A particularly annoyed GM might have you break your tools if you get too much threat on a mod roll . . . not that I've done that to my party. Honest.

Also you can only mod once per timeslot, and I recall that leaning out your equipment for bonuses is frowned upon for Jedi. You do get that neat difficulty reduction for modding your own stuff though, so I think that balances it out nicely

I may be interested in modding my lightsaber. Not that I really use it. Though I don't really have anything else I really need to spend credits on at the moment.
