He told Arali about it in detail over the last few weeks. Little tidbits of information here and there when they managed to get together for dinner or a drink. They hadn't had a chance to sit down and actually get the work done though.

Ms-08 stood near a computer terminal, trying to stay out of the way. Zane hadn't had much work for him to do after all, at least not yet. The hatted man sat at the nearby console going over a few files he had put together on his data pad. The case was coming along, but there certainly was a whole lot left to do.

Arali made her way onto the Three Drinks and promptly doffed the Jedi robes, in favor of the more practical work clothes underneath. "Morning, Detective. How's our new friend doing?"

"He'd good. Kind of the quiet type, but that's to be expected." Droids like him weren't expected to be heard. "I imagine he'll be feeling better in a while though." He smiled slightly. "He deserves it too, the fellow has done some good work."

"Well, we have plenty of time for you to be a bad influence on him later," Arali teased, and began looking the bot over for any obvious signs of damage.

M-O8 was still a bit scuffed up from his encounter with a blaster rifle in the battle he was caught up in. Z had taken his in to get most of the worst of the repairs seen to though. "...."

"I'll try not to be too much of a bad influence on him." His tone turned teasing. "Just don't go treating him like he is our son or something."

"Oh, of course not. If anything, he'd be your son, and I get to be the cool aunt."

Without further preamble, she popped the cranial casing, and ran some leads from his neural processor to her datapad. "Now, then, Mr. Misob, let's see what's going on in that brain of yours."

"You would be a pretty cool aunt." He observed with a smile.

"Ask me if you need anything." Zane offered as she began to work. Apparently the droids command protocols were pretty standard, the only real probably being that he took orders from the Mandolorian's, as well as everyone else.

"I should be good... our friend here doesn't have much in the way of security. You might want to get that upgraded some day."

She began poking at the droid for a long while, going through the programming for surprises as much as repurposing him, but she doesn't find anything too nefarious, so she gets to updating protocols. Standard general compliance mode gets shifted to a central authority model. Install a few of the rudimentary shipboard protocols the strike force had on file, along with a more robust interaction protocol. Toss in a moderate appreciation of hats with a small database on the subject and a drive to expand that knowledge, and... good to go.

"Thanks." Zane said, walking up do the droid could do just that. "He'll need a new name as well."

He pondered it for a moment. "M, short for Maral. Think that will do?"

With a tap, the droid's eyes lit up and it began scanning Zane.

"Mr. Maral Misob, code name M, bartender of the stars," Arali announced, with a dramatic hand wave as if reading the name from a banner.

That brought a light laugh from Zanes lips. "Maral Misob, that's a fine name."

Looking towards the droid he offered a smile. "Welcome aboard M."

Arali input the name and alternate designation. "Alright, and..." she checked the processor, "Wow. Okay, this guy's gonna take a while to process. He's not exactly the sharpest, and that hospitality program was a lot bigger than I thought it'd be."

"I'm in no rush." Zane replied with a light laugh.

"But thanks again. Could I get you anything to drink? Kaff, Tea, something a bit stiffer?" He asked as he rose to his feet and started to walk towards the bar.

"It is way too early for something stiffer," Arali chided as she set down her datapad and followed Zane.

"That's entirely dependent on how much you had to drink the night before. No better cure then what it is that bit ya."

"Kaff it is though." He confirmed, humming softly mostly to himself as he went through the process of making it.
