Working shirtless in the pleasant warmth, Garth hefted piping and other materials around at the direction of those with more brains than he.

He was comfortable taking orders, especially in fields that he had no knowledge or experience in. Besides, he hadn't gotten to the gym yesterday, so this kinda made up for it.

[Tethys Carrack]

Tethys is in the bottom of the muddy ditch, wielding a shovel and linking up pipes with a hydrospanner and welder along with the rest of the grunts. She can't lift the heaviest loads or dig the fastest, but she has clever enough fingers to do the joins quickly and neatly. At some point as the day got warmer she had stripped off her outer robe and left it hanging over a shattered section of wall nearby; now she's working in her sleeveless tunic with arms bare, her dark skin glistening a little with sweat.

Perhaps not a very impressive-looking Jedi, though she still has her lightsaber on her belt.

[Zanebry Varliss]

Zane managed to make it out for at least a little while in the middle of the afternoon, though manual labor was simply not something he was great at. It was a pleasant day; if a bit warm, that and the work itself made him shed his jacket. Though he still wore his vest and dress shirt underneath, sleeves rolled up to reveal his scarred forearms.

Taking a moment to catch his breath he pulled off his hat, and wiped a bit of sweat from his brow with the back of his arm, before setting his hat back in place and gripping the shovel again in his gloved hands. "I don't think I've dug a hole since I left the army." Z mused, mostly to himself. He didn't count graves.

[Dapper Dog]

Draagh was present; he hefted large loads on his bare shoulders. He wore loose fitting pants and sturdy boots but had removed his dirty shirt and was sweating with pale skin darkened by dirt and debris. He was a muscular man, well definied with scars from battles long past.

He rubbed his brow and nodded to those already at work and worked quietly but diligently.

Jax continued toiling away doing whatever tastes were needed of him not so strong as others here he couldn't bear the same work loads but he was nimble and quick with small tasks tying stuff off moving small loads quickly a good honest sweat had built up on him and halfway through the session he was stripped down to his waist.

[Niall Organa]

Niall was there, steadily working away. The conditioning that Vera had been putting him through certainly helped, but it was still tiring work. He paused a moment, wiping sweat from his brow.

[Hamelin]

Hamelin is there to assist as well. He greets the fellow volunteers. <Sokem sudne ofilf cumeat cim>
"Good afternoon everyone."

And Azura continued to help. Digging things up, carrying things around. Being a good girl.

"How much longer?" She asked Jax as he passed her again.

Jax was carrying a load on his shoulder "a few more hours, but I mean feel free to leave. No one is forcing you to help." He said evenly maybe smirking a bit. He figured Azura liked this stuff more than she let on

"..." She glared at him "you suck."

And with that, she got back to work. Only pausing to stare at the strange creature that made weird sounds, trying to work out if he was threatening or helping. She really hoped he was threatening.

Niall was there, steadily working away. The conditioning that Vera had been putting him through certainly helped, but it was still tiring work. He paused a moment, wiping sweat from his brow.

"Tired already Niall?" Z joked, from his place digging, a slight smile on his lips. The captain was apparently the only man other then Z who hadn't taken off his shirt, which was a bit surprising at least to the former spy.

[Nai'tiri Cadera]

By now, someone else had taken over the watch-duty, and Nai had stripped out of her armor to the tight-fitting red clothes underneath that hugged her eye-catching figure. Her hair pinned away from her face and neck, she was doing some of the heavy lifting alongside the bigger fellows.

[Rekara]

While the hard work had started, and because of her more fragile person, Rekara remained out of the main hand work and instead used her medical knowledge to ease the work for the rest. Like if she could read the minds of the people around her, thought all she did was read their body, their rhythm; Rekara found the perfect timing to make people rest, to offer them food and drinks, as well as massaging their aching body while they rest, removing the strain on their body.

Baesal found herself operating the mechanical arm for a while...well until another physicaly inept person wanted a break

[Layne Hoshin]

Layne was there, doing manual labor like...

...like she was back in the mines.

But hey, this time it was by choice!

[Rav Devaroo]

Rav was both directing the work and taking part in the digging. As a Sapper he was used to this sort of directed grunt work, although usually he was doing it all himself. The dark haired human was proving particularly helpful, which earned a respectful nod.

Moving back and forth along the lines Rav made sure that everyone was following the actual plan. It would be a lot of extra work if they finished only to find it hadn't been done right.

Veeone was still there, as requested by Padawan Zyn, helping out with any heavy lifting, carrying or digging as required.

"Tired already Niall?" Z joked, from his place digging, a slight smile on his lips. The captain was apparently the only man other then Z who hadn't taken off his shirt, which was a bit surprising at least to the former spy.

Niall paused, his foot on the back of his shovel. Slowly, he smiled. "Well, well. Zanebry Varliss." He said, shaking his head. "I didn't expect to be seeing you here."

His hands shifted on the shovel, but he didn't resume digging. "Tired? Me? Surely not. A Republic captain doesn't get tired. I'm just planning my next move." He joked.

Well he could work or he could work on his tan and despite all the enticing work on offer Darius brought a datapad out and did… uh number crunching. Number crunching in the sun to give himself a nice tan on the beach… work smarter and not harder he always said.

So there he was, laid out in loose shorts… providing oversight to the refugees and workers.

Niall paused, his foot on the back of his shovel. Slowly, he smiled. "Well, well. Zanebry Varliss." He said, shaking his head. "I didn't expect to be seeing you here."

His hands shifted on the shovel, but he didn't resume digging. "Tired? Me? Surely not. A Republic captain doesn't get tired. I'm just planning my next move." He joked.

"Well, you know me, almist always showing up where I'm not expected. Benefit of working alone I figure." Zane replied as he continued digging, he'd somehow managed to keep mostly clean despite the muddy work.

"I'll remember to yell Vera that." Z replied with a soft chuckle. Capn A spent the afternoon planning in the Sun." He conti yes jokingly. "Really though, how have you been?"

[Tethys Carrack]

Layne was there, doing manual labor like...

But hey, this time it was by choice!

Tethys finds herself next to the younger Jedi as she wiggles a pipe section into place. "Jedi Hoshin, isn't it? Would you hold this thing still for me, please? Just for a moment." Her smile is very white in her sweat- and dust-streaked face.

Stopping from the task she was doing, she looked up at the other woman.
