Though wary of the dual sabres, Cole had regrouped enough to take control of his fear. He closed the distance between him and Darius, unarmed and vulnerable, reaching out to touch the man’s arm. “Not like this,” his voice was calm and gentle.

Darius could see the man’s compassion and understood it; well no he didn’t understand it, but he felt like if he could. Which only sparked an internal struggle between his true nature and the kind man who just wanted peace.

“You’re right, Doc… but in this story, I’m the bad boy,” he flipped over Azura ran her through and then brought the second blade to her neck.

“Doctor is right, not like this… stand down, consider this a rare act of mercy,” he said to Azura the blade hovering mere centimeters from her flesh… well unless he killed her.

She gripped her blade tighter, but even in her anger she knew she was beaten.

Darius sighed and put away his weapons, “You owe me spicy poppers, sunshine. Manners are important. The more you know.”

He looked at what could have been at his half filled bag of spicy poppers.

"You didn't tell me where you got them, so can't help you" Azura stepped away, her eyes never leaving him "too bad."

"Just look for the jawas in the sewers, best spicy poppers in the city," he said honestly. "Just don't ask how it's made."

Cole had questions, burning questions, for the self-proclaimed Knight. He didn’t know much about the Jedi order, but even Ashla had her shit in better order than the Force users on either side of him. Resigning himself to never having answers, he let his hand fall from Darius’ sleeve, taking out his comlink and calling for a med-evac for Azura, there wasn’t much he could do for her here.

"That's nice" Azura said with all the caring of a stubborn teenager "and where should I send the vile treats to? Can't give you your treats if I don't know where to find you."

With a sigh, Galen put his saber away. "Jawas. Sewers. Got it."

“I’m around… trust the Force,” he said smirking. “Tell you what send them to Doc, give me a reason to get a check up.”

Cole felt like he was trembling. He wasn’t, and anyone who looked would see a man of military bearing, firm and collected, tired, his thoughts behind a wall. He took out a hypospray. The adrenaline crash might have been unpleasant for Azura, but Cole needed to get the hormone out of his system.

Injecting the beta-blocker into his neck, Cole looked at Galen and shook his head. “No, he stopped himself. That wasn’t me.” The surgeon’s complexion was pasty and his blonde curls were drenched with sweat, more than could be accounted for by the heat alone.
